    Nobody? Really?

Wanna give everyone else a try before it goes on ebay. Note: I did not get these from ebay, from a guy who was selling them several months back. I've had this one for about a year now. Corroborated with members here as the correct one (see picture of swatch, posted also here on forum).

Let me know guys. I am willing to talk

    Thanks

    Would rather deal with AJBers.

$650 shipped CONNUS. International rates apply. This is what I paid for mine, 1.5 years ago. So its really a loss for me.

    Let me know guys

    Thanks

EDIT: i've been getting emails about the colors. The tie is a dark chocolate/champagne color. It looks too bright because of the flash. If I dont use a flash, it looks black/brown.

That's a lot of money for just a tie... Especially that (as you can see from another thread), you can have a replica suit for $200! 8-)

That's actually a great deal (as you can see from many other threads). Best of luck on the sale.

    Jag,

That is actually a good deal. If on eBay, it would sell for a lot more.

Remember this is a Tom Ford screen accurate original that is out of production and very rare, not an ill fitting replica suit! 8-)

I don't think you can compare a cheap replica suit of unknown quality and accuracy, to a rare screen accurate genuine Tom Ford piece.

Apart from Tom Ford being ridiculously overpriced, if I owned the tie, I would put it on eBay if thought I could get a better price instead of begging forum members.

Somehow I doubt even a Goldfinger tie actually worn by Sean Connery would be worth that much, but if someone has too much money...

I guess you never saw the recent Christies auction then and not familiar with current prices

E.g. Tom Ford Skyfall cufflinks and Grigio Perla swim trunks went for a fair whack lol

And he's hardly "begging forum members". He just wants it to go to someone who will appreciate what it is.

But were they "screen accurate" or screen worn? Come on, if Tom Ford could sell through Christie's auctions instead of the shops, he would do it exclusively.

Having said that, it's still crazy. Who would want to buy worn undies for that price? And especially if worn by Daniel Craig...

What makes you think that someone who pays more than $650 on eBay will not appreciate they've paid so much money for? I would never offer so much if I did not know what I was buying...

What is it that you're trying to accomplish here Jag?

Not sure about you, but I don't always try to accomplish anything when I engage in a chat. In case you didn't notice, we were talking about a tie for sale... so no need to treat it like a Holy Grail and Word of God in one :))

We get it. You don't think the tie is worth the price. No need to beat a dead horse.

With all due respect, Jag, I would hardly call your comments engaging in chat.

Hope the deal goes through ok, 96mn12.
