So this is just a thread where you rank all the 23 Bond films in order!

I know that many of you keeps that list in your signatures, but it would be intresting to see them in a separate thread!

Nope! We can quibble over the others, but our friend Mr. Magnusson put AVTAK right where it belongs!

A Bond who is almost 60 with a formularic script and with a un-inspired directing doesen't make a good Bondfilm. Take that and throw a bad script and a horribly bad pace and we got everything else but a good Bond-film. -{

I really can't understand some of the reasons people hate this film so much. I mean, 'formularic script' could be applied to like 20 other bond films. I don't see how the directing is uninspired compared to a load of others either. I thought the Zorin scenes were especially well directed. And 'bad script', well I can think of a lot worse. DAD for one. And I think the pace is really good too. The action really picks up in the second half. Do you think the pace is too slow, or too fast? I thought the pace for SF was too slow (although I still love it). Reasons like this are reasons that I just can't get my head around.

I can understand Moore's age being a reason though. Personally it doesn't bother me and I don't notice it much, but I do see this reason more than many of the others people list (I'm not singling you out here by the way - I've seen A LOT of AVTAK flack on here from many).

AVTAK is so damn memorable. Walken as Zorin, the golden gate bridge fight, the mine flood. This film has character. People may hate/dislike it, but surely it has more character than many of the bond films. I mean, FYEO is a film that I LOVE, but I do think it lacks in character/memorability (don't get me wrong though, I love FYEO).
