Has anyone watched the movies in the order of the books and do they make any sense if you do it that way??

    Without trying to be funny: yes and no.

    (Yes, I've tried that and no, it doesn't make sense. Mind you, watching them in production order throws up continuity problems too!)

    May give it a go then and see how it is. Think it will cover all six actors too!

    Are you going to watch it in order by name or content? Because you may need to watch Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only, and Licence To Kill simultaneously.

    Ah good point indeed - initial thoughts were the titles as I've read all the books too

    Also since some of the films are only similar in title too, that seems like you won't quite get what you're looking for.

    Well it sure would bring in some intresting angles on how to see the character. Live and Let Die after CR? Well it is not that far-fetched.
    One equal temper of heroic hearts, Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

    Sorry for the self-Plugging but,........

    In the Literary forum we are reading the Bond novels in Order, So far we've had
    CR & LALD, with Moonraker being read in September. So it's not too late for anyone wanting
    to read the Books in order or to read them again. :)

    That's fine....I wish more fans WOULD read the books...then they would know that Book-Bond is very different to Film-Bond...except in a few places -{
