Quantum of Solace - good or bad movie?

So I've heard a lot of thoughts concerning QOS and after watching it I personally thought it was a great movie. What do you guys think?

    I hope you have a thick skin Jason :)) as many hate it as love it. :D
    For me it's an OK film, with frantic editing but it has a few good points too.
    Not in my top ten but better than some. -{

    well I like it,has all the right ingridients that cardigan,that Harrington, those jeans,those boots, those sunglasses,

    I agree we are all different. And when I said Im not offended I didnt mean that in a cocky arrogant way I just meant that I dont tipically offend easy,especially about a movie.

    I think I share your assessment of QOS. Not terrible by any means, but not top tier either.

    I'm just going to say it. I love Quantum! Easily in my top five! Craig gives his best performance as Bond, there are great locations that don't feel shoehorned in, a practical girl, and great suits! Combine this with a terrific political intrigue/ revenge plot and it's one of my favorites. My only complaints are the bad writing for Greene, the under use of Felix, and a less than desireable title song.

    I've never hated the film but find it hard to rank it high. Probably because it feels like an elongated coda to CASINO ROYALE rather than a film in its own right. I wish the film were longer & had more villain stuff. The big desert hotel ending feels a bit purfunctory, as if everyone's in a rush to get it over with. It could do with more kick. But there's still a lot to like. The opera sequence is fantastic & Daniel Craig's excellent as 007. Main gripe for me is on a technical level. The shaky-cam way of filming things has no business being in Bond's universe. I like a fast pace, but a clean image to go with it so I can see clearly what's going on. If I wanted to feel 'in the thick if it' I'd have joined MI6!
