Hello there, reading through all yours post brought me to buy this piece for summer vacation at sea.
I’m quite happy by now, I shall see how it grew on me.
Congratulations! {[]
That’s really nice. I have a couple of Steinhart watches, they are good quality, accurate and have lasted well. They are excellent value!
In the end I went for the more classic of the two. Seeing them side by side, the newer AT with the orange second hand and this one, made me realize that I really prefer the older one.

Horrible picture, but you get the idea.
Congratulations on the new watch and real life pictures look better! The Omega stock photos make the rose gold more pronounced but your photo makes it seem more subdued which is a plus!
I think you made the right choice. A friend just bought one of the new ATs (not the combo you were considering) and although I like it, it’s too sporty to be versatile. It works for him because he has a large collection, but it wouldn’t work for me.
I need a little bit advise. I really love the Omega watch from Spectre. The point is i don't have enough money to buy one. I do have a Rolex Submariner 116610LN. Would you sell it to buy the Spectre one? Or keep the Rolex? What would you do?

The Omega is a nice watch but it's not nice enough that i would recommend that you sell your Submariner to acquire it!
Only you can decide that. The Spectre Omega is a limited edition so I think they will be more difficult to find (for a fair price) the longer you wait.

Hi Ricardo,
If you are desperate for the limited edition version as a collection piece then I MAY consider letting the Rolex go, but in your position I wouldn't, Rolex are holding their value well, and have a wider appeal than a niche bond omega, if I were you I would save up, buy a non le SM300 coax and then buy an omega grey and black nato to put it on, that way you get an identical quality watch with the same look but for less than half the limited ed money. Of course that's just my opinion.

This....
Also he can pick up the Spectre versions second hand off of eBay for $140!
But is it all about re-sale value? I mean, if you prefer to wear the Omega more, go for the Omega. The only way a watch keeps its maximum re-sale value is by keeping it in pristine condition. You do this by not wearing the watch.....
I agree with different comments above.
It isn’t (or shouldn’t be) all about resale value, you should wear and enjoy the watch. The Sub is an iconic design and will never go out of fashion. I wouldn’t sell mine.
Go for a non LE Seamaster 300 and add a black and grey Omega NATO, (its got a much nicer s3cond hand anyway!) and you’ll get 99% of the look your after at 50% of the cost.
If resale values are important to you... keep the Sub, they’re only likely to increase in value. The SPECTRE LEs already seem to have passed their peak. If 007 wears another important timepiece in next years film, values may drop further or you may want to purchase that one instead.

Happy to oblige, here's a better view of this lovely neo-art deco number
