I thought this deserved it own thread 
Thunderpussy had an idea a few weeks back about a members pin, so I got to drawing something up, this is something I never really do I must have been board or something.
Anyway the idea was an a with a gun barrel in the middle, i wanted something subtle, like I said in another thread it is a members pin not an ajb advertisement as such.
here is the first drawing incase you missed it in the other thread.
and here is what AA came up with -{

How about a Challenge Coin as well? I don't think anyone has done a run of those either.

Looks great DJ, but could the centre be circular and less hexagonal?...
Or does this have anything to do with it being drawn by someone from alcoholics anon?
One suggestion though: could everyone who gets a pin also have access to a secret hand-shake?

At present can anyone who's a member on here request one? Or will they be for the select few?
I hope that they're not given out at a get-together as most of them are on London and I'm on the Midlands and also because I struggle to make it to events as I have a lot of family work and financial commitments.
Perhaps anyone with over 500 posts or aerhong could have one to show they're a dedicated member of AJB and not just a spammer or somebody who pops up when they have something to sell?

The run was never intended to be limited to 100, that is the size of the initial run, AJB is not an exclusive club like Dave pointed out.
BUT, the idea is hand them out and not charge, so you would have to be an active member with some sort of post limit or turn up to a get together, I'm not just talking a get together arranged by myself anyone can arrange one and will be supplied with pins to hand out.
That is in a perfect world
Singe told me last night that if he gets time he will draw something up so hopefully we will have a final design -{

You know Pete you could set up a PayPal account, just for this venture...and for those members who can, they can donate to the run....no set price, just whatever people can contribute...it's voluntary...so then people can feel part of the project.

it is a good idea Lexi, id rather get the project up and running, then with your idea it could be kept running, I wouldn't want to be in charge of the paypal though
