I was watching TB earlier today, and I picked up on Bond's "What I did tonight was for King and Country" remark to Fiona.
This has left me confused.com. King George VI died in 1952, thereby leaving Elizabeth II to assume the throne; more than a decade before TB went into production.
I'm not aware of how British society and attitudes were in 1965, so older (British) forumites here might shed some light on this matter. Was this anachronism meant to be intentional, or unintentional?
