Perfect Director for Bond 24?

There is many great directors on the scene just now but for me Alfonso Cuaron would be the perfect director for the next bond I feel.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Children of Men and the newly released Gravity were all excellently crafted films and boasted a very unique and gripping visual style. Cuaron certainy knows how to make even the simplest of scenes look amazing and IMO would be the perfect Director to take on the roll for Craig's 4th outing. I guarantee he would be fabulous
Thoughts? :D
....and the best he ever managed was a sermon on the mount.

Thoughts ? Sam Mendes will direct Bond24, so he hasn't got a chance.

:# let me rephrase then. Who would you most liked to have seen take on the directors role for Bond 24?

A great director doesn't necessarily make a great Bond film. Cuaron might well make the best Bond film ever, but I think it's hard to tell from his previous work. It would definitely be visually spectacular, but I don't know if it would be true to the character and the series although I wouldn't be opposed to his hiring. I really enjoyed Skyfall so I am more than happy to have Mendes back and intrigued to see how the story/characters will develop.

Though I am thrilled that Mendes is returning, I would love to see Alfonso Cuaron direct a Bond film.

Incidentally, Cuaron had a voice cameo as a Bolivian helicopter pilot in QoS.

I suppose as long as Marc Forster doesn't return to the Bond franchise - all is well. Btw I actually think that Sam Mendes has a good chance of improving upon Skyfall with Bond 24. I know a lot of people see that as a modern epic like CR but honestly every time I watch SF I enjoy it slightly less ?:)

Well, I think that depends more on the script and the actors...you need a good starting point otherwise you are in trouble from the start...
