    I've decided to surprise my parents and fly to Canada to be with them...arrived yesterday, (they had no idea) and were thrilled...(my Dads health has seriously deteriorated)

    So back home for Christmas..wonderful -{

    It's the time of year when the importance of family is brought home. Sad to hear
    about Lexi's Father, it might sound sentimental fluff at Christmas but Parents are
    so very special, I hope that whatever Lexi's wishes for him can happen.
    I too regret not going to Canada had a chance a few years ago but chickened out
    I'm too much of a home bird. :#

    Thanks guys...(and Thunderpussy) I think I've come to realise it's not what under the tree that's important, it's who's around it...(even if I have left a couple of those behind :# ;) ) and when there is great distances involved, it seems even more so...
