When Was 007 At His Least Bond-Like?

As the title suggests, there have been a few times throughout the films when 007 doesn't act the way we expect him to. My vote goes towards in Octopussy, when he runs up to the American general to tell him about the bomb instead of continuing to pursue it himself.

-{ Tbh there was quite a few un bond-ish moments in TMWTGG
M seems very pi**ed off with everyone even poor old Q.
Going along with the William Tell Severine moment with no attempt to delay with chit chat or even show much unease, anger or remorse. But then going out there without even a gun to his name is something Moore would have hestitated to do in his silliest films. Earlier, standing by to watch while an assassination unfolds. Nice....
And Dalton going all soppy over Kara when she plays the cello, later telling her 'It was equisite' though not quite sure if he isn't acting the part to win her over, he is misleading his intentions there anyway.
Connery going bashful in NSNA with Fatima Blush around.
Roger Moore 1927-2017
Winner! )
In my opinion that was Moore in one of his most Bondian moments.
I think Bond dressed as a clown gets my vote.
And there's nothing wrong in dressing like
a clown, I've been doing it for years.
I was tempted to post Bond singing in "Dr. No," but I rather like how he has a lot more dimension in the early Bonds than later, when he basically becomes a type.
Utter non-Bondian tosh. X-(

Bond has a good voice. Man of many talents ) I'll go with Bond crapping himself when Bunt captures him in OHMSS
" I don't listen to hip hop!"
It's the acting like a clown part that bothers me!
Dunno, guess you'd say the same about May Day switching sides. Personally I like how some villains can change sides according to their situation. I think Amis does a chapter on it in his Bond book, how some of Bond's allies might, in another context, be his enemy.

" I don't listen to hip hop!"
What were they thinking when they wrote that scene?

I disagree, especially when considered within the context of the Bond-M relationship that developed over the course of Craig's three Bond films. And I wouldn't exactly called that "uncontrollable" weeping.
I agree.
Perhaps, but there was never meant to be a "relationship" in the first place beyond a superior-subordinate relationship. Maybe part of the reason why I thought Bond shouldn't, or wouldn't have shed a tear over M's death is because I do not agree with the direction the producers took the Bond-M relationship. It shouldn't have been anything other than a boss-subordinate relationship.
Personally I prefer the direction the films have taken - Bond is more believable and the characterisation improved over some of the earlier scripts.
