A reminder that Daniel Craig, Naomie Harris and Christopher Waltz are scheduled to appear on The Graham Norton Show this Friday (23rd Oct), BBC One at 10.35pm. The programme will be available on the BBC iPlayer shortly after broadcast.

Now that is a really great adaptation. I have it on tape but I'll have to make a point of listening to that again.
"The tough man of the world. The Secret Agent. The man who was only a silhouette." - Ian Fleming, Moonraker (1955).
It was a pretty good clip show, couldn't argue with the lower rankings, in particular Another Way To Die as the worst, that was until I realised that All Time High and Moonraker were not even in the top 20 at all. Both are a bit pedestrian, and Rita always sounds off key to me, but I do love Bassey's MR, suppose they could have said that Sinatra and Kate Bush were lined up to do the vocal at one point, I can see that with both of them.
Nobody Does It Better at no 5? C'mon. Sam Smith didn't get in on the vote, maybe just as well. Who voted anyway, who gets called in to do these things? Not us that's for sure. Adele at no 1 but personally I don't like that, I prefer Smith's offering, though I don't see why he is standing over Union flag draped coffins, that was Skyfall.
No one had anything negative to say about the songs, it's all upbeat, though judicious editing of one word utterances from the films added a dose of mischief and comment.

I missed that programme in the end-up but I hope it'll be repeated over the Christmas holidays some time so I can get a chance to record it. -{

It might be on the itv hub ? Although to get the full range of programmes
You have to put in an English post code ( for some reason). We alternate
Between using 10 Downing street and Buckingham palace.

To be honest, I didn't even know that existed.
You hear far more about the BBC iPlayer and 4OD it seems to me.
I'll have to have a look online and see if I can find that programme now. -{

The world's greatest spy movies Channel 4 last night ( available on demand) as chosen by
Real Intelligence officers. A very interesting programme to see what films made their top ten.
For Bond fans, it may be of interest that the Bond film they chose as the best of the Bonds
Was Skyfall. -{

Watching LALD tonight on ITV, I thought they'd just repeat the version they showed
On Sunday, ( where they cut out most of Roger getting his arm sliced ). In this one
The showed all three cuts to Roger's arm. Just thought it odd they'd go to the bother
Of reinserting it, for a late night showing ?

They will have different versions for different time slots...
Once again I'll never understand the censorship decisions of TV companies.

That's why I rarely bother watching Bond films on TV any more after the travesty of ITV's editing process. They cut whole scenes out of YOLT!
