Just saw AH this evening, and, following a discussion about the film, we both agree that the law office set looks very similar to Gumbold's office, complete with the textured glass, and wood. Even the names painted on the glass look very much like old GG office in Berne.
Perhaps the film makers are 007 fans, after all, they used LALD music in a key scene...

Is the film very good? I've never heard much about American Hustle at all...
David O. Russell is a phenomenal and knowledgeable director ('Three Kings' in particular is a great—and underrated—film) so I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was an intentional homage.
