LALD Pre titles sequence

Has anyone ever heard about the original idea preposed for the pre title sequence of live and let die? I have read in the trivia section for the film on imdb that apparently it was going to involve bond being given some magic contact lenses by a mystery man in a garden then the both of them being chased by enemy agents where the man ends up falling off a wall and hundreds of feet to his death as we discover they are on top a skyscraper. It sounds pretty bizzare but quite exciting. Apparently they ditched it for some reason. I have tried to research it more on the web but have found nothing. Does anyone else know about it or can they shed more light on it? I find it fascinating. ?:)

This is the first I've heard of this but this is very bizarre!! I think I'll stick to the original opening of the movie, thank you.

Robert Vaughn's ski slope and lodge on top if his building.
