Is this a Bond tie?

Tom Ford ties usually don't get bid up so high, unless they're Bond ties. Is this one of them?

Could this be the last scene tie from Skyfall?

My guess it's a tie from QoS, when M and Bond are searching through Mitchell's apartment in London.

Magnoli also has a tie just like it.

I think it's a similar model as the QOS tie, but not quite. The dots aren't lined up the same way as they are in the actual QOS tie.

The dots on the QOS tie go down the tie at an angle. The dots on the tie above go down in a straight vertical line.

    So close, but not quite.

The Ebay tie is described as having black and white dots. The QoS London tie is also purple/aubergine.

I thought it was the London tie from QOS. The close ups seemed to match the the swatches I found online. That is why I bidded for it. Unfortunately, I was not willing to pay what the winner did :( . If anyone is interested in parting with a London QOS tie, I'd be interested.

I think you lucked out by not winning it. It doesn't quite match the tie. Look at the swatch as well as previous pics of the tie posted on the forum. The direction of the dots don't match.

I'm about 90% sure that it was the London Tie, Andrew, as you suggested. The pics definitely match to the confirmed London tie. It looks just like the tie in my pics here -

    Confirmed Tie:

    Auction Tie:

The style number of the eBay tie is just slightly different - TFD28 1TK D ITA 081
While the confirmed tie is TFD28 1TK A ITA 082. Not sure what the differences are in the style numbers, but the tie looks to be exactly the same.

    Kind regards,
    Craig

Craig, your tie looks closer to navy or dark plum.

TF calls it "midnight" - it's a very dark blue/black color; it appears black under most lighting, but definitely shows a different shade under direct light/flash, as you can see from those pics.

This tie was not made in any other colors, unlike the other 4 "QoS" ties.

    Kind regards,
    Craig
