Agree, thought the bulk of the film would be the Seamaster 300.... Maybe Craig really is a fan of the AT... It kind of looks off with the Casual Jacket, Turtle Neck and Pants.... The 300 would have fit better IMO

Interesting that he is wearing the Aqua Terra in this scene. I thought he would have switched to the NATO Seamaster after the HQ scenes and kept that throughout the film.

SE300 MC with NATO Confirmed. Note that it has a GMT bezel instead of the standard 60m Diving Bezel on the current SE300 MC.

Hmm but which version does he actually wear in the film???

More Qs then answers I reckons since I can't see 007 wearing...
The watch features a bi-directional, rotating diving bezel, made from black, polished ceramic, combined with a LiquidMetal® 12 hour scale, so that time can be kept with any country in the world.

Other unique features include the "lollipop" central seconds hands, as well as the 5-stripe black and grey NATO strap. On the bracelet's strap holder, the 007 gun logo has been engraved.

I would have thought DC wouldn't allow himself to wear a SE for the film, right ? I am glad that they have announced this officially early anyway. Personally, I think it will be an iconic Bond watch. I have no doubt DC influenced the NATO strap which is a nice touch and a nice nod to the DNA of the films.

After I've already bought the 300M on the market... Ugh hopefully the one I've got is SA :#

If he does wear this version in the film then it will be one of the nicer limited editions since the 007 SPECTRE branding hidden on casebook (though it sounds like 007 engraved on one of the strap holders so imagine in the film he is would use a standard non branded version which is an easy fix)

Interesting indeed but we really need an actual film closeup shot of the watch to see what he is really wearing

I'm going to be pretty upset if mine isn't SA. Great watch love the hell out of it but I want SA!!! X-(

The one DC wore on the photo shoot with Monica Bellucci, prior to the Rome filming was definitely the standard model - doesn't mean that it wasn't swapped for filming, but....

It's also possible that the standard model was used for early filming and the new model used for later scenes/close-ups.
Without giving anything away, I can imagine 2 scenes in the film where we are likely to get a good look at the bezel......

Another thing I'm a little worried about is the NATO sizing. I know we've had this conversation about it already and that the proper size is 41mm-42mm model. However, I ordered one into my local dealer shop and to hold me over I got a 41mm strap. It fits pretty snugly. I'm worried it won't fit when it arrives...

Do you think, in light of how different previous SEs are and, frankly, their novelty factor, DC would wear a Seamaster 300 with a gun engraved on the strap during filming ?. I would have thought the watch worn would be a standard 300. The SE, IMHO, would cheapen the placement. Don't get me wrong mate, this looks like it could be the nicest SA ever produced.

I guess you mean SE (as in special edition) instead of SA (as in screen accurate)?

He could be wearing some special Hybrid (standard with the new bezel and lollipop hands) without the 007 gimmicks

Quite possible, but you know if the one in the movie appears with the bezel and hand, you're going to want the closest available one to that.

    Could be spin, but in the Omega article, this is the key bit;

'Now, in celebration of the new movie, fans and watch collectors will be able to buy the model worn by 007 in SPECTRE, as the OMEGA Seamaster 300 will go on sale as a limited edition. The release marks a first for the partnership; until now, only commemorative editions have been used to celebrate OMEGA's link with the franchise.'

From what I've seen on set and heard, I believe Bond will be wearing the 12 hour bezel, not the 10,20,30 version. Well, especially for some scenes...
  • k5211k5211 UKPosts: 164MI6 Agent
That would be too exciting to contemplate. This is already the best looking watch since the PO on the rubber strap in Casino Royale

I agree with Jon. DC will be using the 12 hour.

    It means the bezel says 1 - 2 - 3 - 4, etc., up to 12 rather than 10 - 20 - 30 - 40 - 50

I can confirm the watch work in the film is the new bezel and lollipop seconds hand model. But can't post proof without a significant spoiler.

I own the earlier release with standard dive bezel. This new release is interesting but I wouldn't want it with the Spectre markings on the back and on the keeper.
