Has anyone asked Omega? I really can't understand how they would pass up the chance to promote a third model, seeing the success of the LE...
Then again they didnt really market the AT as the Skyfall watch. The PO appeared to get all the promo and was only in the film for 15 mins
Well, the PO did get the lion's share of promotion, but they ID the AT in their website, and feature it in their Lifestyle magazine. What's strange to me is the radio silence regarding this "third watch".

Omega's marketing department is on crack ) when it comes to promoting James Bond's choice. The sales reps argue amongst themselves on what is actually worn, sadly the majority are not watch nuts just there to pick up a pay check.
The second shot - in which Bond puts the car into gear - is more in focus, but sadly only shows the strap. It's black leather, not tetured like the straps shown above. Has anyone paid close attention to the scene immediately preceding, with Q?

I did during my second viewing. There isn't even a hint of the watch during the scene with Q. The only glimpses come as he turns the key in the ignition and then when shifting the DBV into gear. I guess we aren't meant to know what watch 007 is wearing on holiday or whatever it is he's doing when he splits with the good Dr. Swann.

I just watched it again and there is no clear shot of the watch. The watch definitely has multiple complications (dials) but not chrono crowns as best I can tell.
During Bond and Madeleine Swann's first meeting, when she is asking him questions about drinking etc., I think she might be wearing an Omega Constellation, in steel with a silver dial.
The Omega London Bond Street store are kindly trying to figure out what the third watch is. I've provided the couple of grainy images, and the red carpet shots from this thread and there immediate feedback is;
"It’s very hard to say with this resolution. For me it looks like a vintage Omega Seamaster but it could also be an old Constellation model because of the applied arrow indexes. I will let you know as soon as I find out which exact model he is wearing."
So if anyone gets better shots then please post them up and I will pass them on. Perhaps they will be able to check with sources and confirm.
Cheers.
Nice earrings by the way.
Dont wait for your ship to come in. Swim out and meet the bloody thing.
She's also wearing OMEGA Constellation earrings to match.
These? They are David Deyong
I guess you are on about these???? Interesting
Those Omega earrings have just jogged my memory. I know she wears the David Deyong ones in Blofeld's lair, but during the Klinik scenes, she wears loop/hoop-style earrings in silver-coloured metal. I can't find any decent pictures though.

Thank you for working with the Bond Street OB to see what you can find out. I keep hitting dead ends but will try to get a better picture of the watch when I see the movie again...
So I got to chance to finally watch Spectre over the weekend, and though the shot of the mystery watch is out of focus, I could have sworn there was a sub dial on the face of the watch which leads me to be think it could be either one of the two.
Possible. I saw the movie once so hard to really tell but I thought the sub dial was on the side of the date window, I have not seen an omega configured like that.
If the watch were worn on the right hand, then it would look like this. But that won't work because the gear shifter is on the left on a right hand side drive car.
I'm not sure if someone noticed, but the Omega promo showing some blueprints of the Omega 300 are clearly revealing what the watch does ) One of the text says "C4 compartment".
I don't suppose the third watch could be the new master chronometer with a white face? I received marketing emails from omega in late October, could be just a coincidence tho?
This is the best unclear image of the watch I can get. To my eyes, it's a chronograph, the angle hides the pushers but I believe it's the squared off ones like the ones on the Aquare Terra. The vintage Omega's also have this. The size makes me think it's a vintage piece

Good catch. Since he's retired during that scene, maybe he has another brand on :v

That definitely looks like it has a subdial. Which Omega has a dial like that? Black leather strap too. Hmmm... Someone should inquire with Omega and show them that image. Meanwhile, I'm gonna go look around the Omega website...

Could you please post another pic of this page (without the watch blocking the wording). Thanks.
-leather strap
-light dial
-possibly a sub-dial

She wears the Deyongs from the train scene onwards to the lair

If it is one of these I'm guessing the top model.
Im guessing maybe a vintage hence why dont really see it
Omega sure would not like that
