  Ian Fleming to play Ian Fleming, he can't be matched, he can't be beaten and he can't be imitated. One of a kind, if there is such a thing, why can't they just make a documentary...

  He might be a bit old now but I always thought Richard E Grant would've made a great Fleming.

  I'd definitely accept Eddie Redmayne. Unless you are an utterly exceptional actor, you need a public school boy to convincingly portray a public school boy...the affectations, the confidence, the mannerisms, the general manner. An Old Etonian portraying an Old Etonian! Redmayne also has those peculiar looks that are not classically attractive but which many women find attractive, like Fleming.
