just a random thought, taking into account ,the DB5 was already tanked up (ie full to the brim with go juice) ready to go
how much fuel would Bond have used too get to skyfall from Deptford London not trying to catch any one out, and I know there are lots of over riding factors, but ball park figure any one 8-)

It says here Db5 would do 17.6 mpg.
Holding 19 UK gals, giving roughly 335 miles, which doesn't sound a lot to me.
so working on that calculation 17-6 x 19 =334 miles ,the old low on fuel flashing light
would probably kick in round about Newcastle ?
