Ford and Fleming

Picked up a Ford Fusion Hybrid last year and this topic came up that I had not thought about before -
Fleming owned a Ford Thunderbird. He had Bond drive the Q supplied Aston in the novels. Ford had Aston from '94 to 2006. Ford copied the front of the Aston Martin design and applied it to the Fusions.
What a strange turn of events!

today (obviously the new Capri) would be wider bigger faster more powerful and we could have been looking at a decent car
but I guess we will just have to stick with our German coupes instead
If it was good enough for Bodie, it's good enough for me
Sadly most new fast cars look like "jelly moulds "
I just knew you would want one
Nice. It won't come to Australia until next year (as the Mondeo). I can't wait - I plan on getting one when it gets here.
I really enjoy it. It's one of the safest on the road, quiet as a tomb, suprisingly good acceleration for a hybrid, nice smooth ride, sips fuel (I only put in a little more than a quarter of a tank a week and I drive every day). It also always gets positive comments from strangers and friends. A female acquaintance saw it the first time and thought it was "gorgeous" and very masculine looking.
