Bond done in a Dr Who format?

My wife and I were talking last night about Dr. Who and then we slid into, "How would the Bond genre have done as a Dr. Who format where they were spread out of over hundreds of TV shows and many different incarnations of Bond..I know, in some ways the same thing has happened with the movies..

It would certainly have been an interesting way to do things..

First of all congrats on having a wife who has any interest at all in either Bond or
Dr Who. :)) , Given the scope of many of Fleming's novels, TV ( especially 60s TV )
Would have been way to small to give the full treatment needed for those stories. :D

She had never seen a Bond film until I took her to see The Spy Who Loved Me, she was hooked after that. Our local PBS ran Dr. Who but only sporadically so we have had to catch up at various times..the internet and Direct TV have really helped on this.

My wife is a school teacher and people are sometimes surprised to learn that her taste in movies, books and TV can be eccentric. She loves The Walking Dead, Trueblood and Game of Thrones...she tells me that discussing Dr. Who with the ladies she works with is a one sided conversation.

:)) You are a lucky man. They do say opposites attract and my wife and I would be an example. She hates Bond with a vengence 8-) , doesn't mind Dr Who too much, as it was part of her childhood, only getting to watch it in
friends homes as it was considered too scary by her parents. :))
Sadly her favourites are romantic novels and soaps.

Have you seen the Mission Impossible TV Series from the late 60's/early 70's? (Not the Tom Cruise Experience set of Films) Basically that's what Bond would have been like if it become a TV Series.
