Your Favourite Bond Era?

chrisisallchrisisall Western Mass, USAPosts: 9,062MI6 Agent
The Bond movie eras can be roughly split into four: (1)The Connery (+Lazenby - DAF), (2) the Moore (+DAF), (3) the Dalton/Brosnan, and (4) the Craig.

Which is you're go-to Bond era?

For moi, it's 3. I love me my Connery & Lazenby, but Dalton/Brosnan brought Bond to serious life for me. Moore was fun, and Craig is serious, they're all good.
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

Difficult decision, it would be a hard battle between Connery Era and Craig era. That being said I do really love the other Bond's just as much, but going off how many times I've re-watched them all, these two eras are more common for me.

    Bunsen :)

The sixties for me. Six Bond films — all very different, all stone cold classics.

I'm not saying they're the best era, but for me the excitement of going to see the latest
big Bond film, So it would have to be the Roger Moore movies. :D

The Connery Era 1962-1967 all the way. I don't really count DAF in this era cos 4 years past from YOLT and DAF and we had another actor portray Bond in between it just feels like it doesn't belong in the Connery era.

The 80's for me. With the exception of TLD (which is ok nonetheless), the 80's bond films dominate the top of my list.

    1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby

Connery + Lazenby, definitely. Five of the six films from that era are in my top 5 Bond films.

The Brosnan Era will always be my favourite because I grew up at that time, and my best cinema experiences were going to see his later films. The 60's era is probably the strongest and most cohesive though because of the SPECTRE plot line keeping things moving along nicely (except for Goldfinger but it's just amazing :D )
