I would have to say my favorite is the era before the reboot. I've posted many times before about my favorite movies and essential movies in the series.

I'll go with the 1962 to 2002 era as my favorite.
I was also specifically thinking of the 1962 to 2002 era, but for me, declining after the 80s.

I should probably add the first 3 Connery films as they are definitely among the very finest.
The 1964 to 1975 range is my least favorite. (TB thru TMWTGG) None of those films are near my Top 10.
As fans we are fortunate to be able to select our favourite era, whereas most other action films are lucky to have a halfway decent sequel.
