There's plenty of collectors and advice in the collecting and memorabilia section.
The guys over there really know their stuff. Sadly I know very little.

I fully agree on all point - particularly on the last
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
It's amazing how much music adds to a scene in film. Just watched the raid on Fort Knox without the sound on and even though I know what will happen, it comes across as rather prosaic. However, turn up the volume and Barry's marching drum beats and blaring horns/crashing symbols and it turns the whole thing on it's head and makes it look as dangerous and ominous as it's supposed to be.

Cleaned it up and it sounds nice.
The original themes are the best but this is a nice recording.

Geoff Love was my first introduction to film music, I had the LP as a youngster. I now have an MP3 copy !!, how times change. Still sounds bloody good though.
And it's not an orange record either according to the site and Amazon UK reviews. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to show an orange record when it was going to be a normal record.
I was browsing in a second hand record shop just for fun about 18 months ago and stumbled upon vinyl albums of AVTAK and TLD. I bought them (not having any means to play them) but then I thought I might as well start collecting Bond on vinyl since I have completed the CD collection. I have since also acquired MR and OP as well as CR (1967). I will continue to buy them as I find them, but I'm not going to any special effort to find them. Just waiting for them to find me I'm hoping I will find some of the earlier soundtracks soon.
As I said in an earlier post I got a German produced copy of diamonds are forever,I now have managed to find a British copy in even better condition.....the audio is also better on the British copy for some reason?and I've heard that Japanese copies are even better than British? Will have to obtain one and find out .
I've stumbled across a few more Bond soundtracks in the last couple of weeks, so here is my current collection.
Take a look at that Thunderball sleeve art. The sleeve is in terrible condition but the artwork is really interesting and unusual. Anybody else ever come across one of these before?
Just been looking around .....as you do ......and I've found all the bond vinyl soundtracks up to live and let die on capital records all brand new,but all from Austria?.i wonder why they are not released over here ?

It's not the size of your collection but rather what you do with it. )
