timothy daltons boat shoes

watched "the living daylights" the other day (great film ) and during the Russian prison scene I can see Timbo wearing boat shoes
does any one know the make ,are they Sabago ?
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

    No clue, but that is another element of Dalton that was close to the novels. His type of shoes. I don't think other Bond actors attempt to wear them.

    In which novels does Bond wear boat shoes? I really can't recall this but I'm not necessarily saying you're wrong.

    He wears loafers a lot because he hates laces, but Moore also wore them so Dalton wouldn't be the only one in that regard.

    Deck shoes are not mentioned in the novels.

    All of the Bonds through Dalton wear slip-ons. Connery only briefly wore a pair in Thunderball, which switched off with his usual ankle boots in the same scene. But Connery's boots were also slip-ons, just not the moccasins that Fleming specified.

    I thought Dalton was wearing the moccasin type in that scene. I'll take another look.

    I thought Dalton was wearing the moccasin type in that scene. I'll take another look.

    Dalton wore the standard moccasin-type deck shoes. When Fleming wrote moccasins he meant loafers.
