I've asked him to write to Sir Miles or me, we'd like to hear from him.
I think he was fed up with all the negativity, as he saw it, about Bond on AJB and I doubt he'll return (for the time being at least).
I'm sorry to hear this.
I'll miss him and I hope he comes back.

I'll drink to that.
A free double or pint for all those present. These do not count to the current special offer.
Higgins I never got back to you about that rice. That was me. A stir fry got away from me then Holly pounced on the bag. So much for vaccuming all of it.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
It's sad to lose TP as he was the biggest poster on here and a larger than life character with a real sense of fun but perhaps after a while he will return...
Of course he will ... just like Daniel Craig
We all take sabbaticals from time to time for various reasons.
I guess my " Rather slit my wrists" comment will follow me.
At the moment I'm a very angry person. Who needs to take
a break. Otherwise I'll end up posting something probably even more
offensive and getting banned, so time for a Holiday.

I think that's for the best...we all need a break from time to time, to converse with different people with different ideas...or to just 'switch off'....good luck on your (Internet) travels -{
AJB has become more serious, topical and to the point lately. Please come back, Thunderpussy. We need you :007)
The board always goes a bit weird when a new film is out or Bond announced. Loads of newbies and people come out of the wood work and of course lots of passionate posts!
I just put my tin hat on and hope for the best. At least we have a bar to hide in these days. {:) {:) {:)

I won't go into details, but I sympathise with how you feel Pussy. (Different reasons, a different forum, same sort of feelings.) I'll look after the Pub, the cat and our customers.
Echoing Lady Rose, M, and everyone else, having a good break is not a bad thing, and we will still be here when you feel the time is right to come home.
Danjaq O, Thanks, we now have an official pub sign! -{

Indeed we do I understand the anger, of course: sometimes I succumb to it myself, despite my best efforts. Anytime there are so many personalities---some of them quite strong, assertive and unbending---mingling and exchanging ideas, emotions can erupt. Those of us who survived the Craig WarsTM of '05-'06 here on AJB know just how ugly it can get
I quite enjoy TP's presence here, as he's quite funny...and also positive in his outlook...which is why I believe some of the insistent negativity wears on him a bit. I too try to stay positive in my approach to these boards (if only to add bit of counterbalance)...especially as a new film, score, theme song, etc., is being praised and condemned ) I've found that by ignoring the threads that have a tendency to offend me, life is easier, but my issues here are rarely in the discussion of Bond--rather, the clashing of broader philosophies that will never be solved in this arena.
So please come back when you're up to it, Thunderpussy. This joint needs a bartender! Now pardon me whilst I draw myself a pint of something dark {[]

Thanks for the vote of confidence Lloef. Your pint.

My views on AJB are well known, but it's just a pity that some people can't move on...
Indeed and it's yourself you are speaking of.
Shedding crocodile tears here that he's gone and welcoming him "home" ( your words ) over there speaks volumes!

They were dark days, Loeffs, dark days. I wasn't sure we were going to make it ....
Anyway ... as TB2 is manning the pumps and has been promoted to acting landlord, I'm going to have myself a very large glass of red please and reflect on this ...
