Great news, ( don't want to keep going on about it but ..... ) Something about how he pauses between
    Mouthfuls, and phrased things as he either wipes his mouth or has a drink. All very natural. -{

I grew up watching all the Tarzan films and couldn't wait to see this new one. Chances were pretty good that I was going to like it whatever - and throw in Margot Robbie and there was no way I was going to dislike it. You'll be surprised to know that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The CGI left a bit to be desired, but it was a rollicking good film and if you're like me and grew up watching the old Johnny Weissmuller films, I think you'll enjoy it too. Incidentally, my wife - who didn't grow up watching men in loin cloths swinging through the trees - also thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not going to be for everyone, but if you're still young at heart, I think you'll like it.

Interesting as it's getting nothing but poor reviews in the press...

Ghostbusters on the other hand is getting good reviews...

    Go figure :s

As did I - Tarzan, like another British hero we all know - has rarely been a critics' darling...and when he is, he alienates some die-hard fans :# I posted a quick review in the 'Last Film Seen' thread a couple of weeks ago...and I encourage every fan of the character to see this one. Waltz is better here than he was in SP, IMHO.

Morning all! large white AMericano if you have it please?

Having discussed the new Roger lager a couple of weeks ago, I wondered what you'd make of this - would our man combine two of his favourites in quite this way?

In an atempt to start a conversation in the bar I offer story:

This week a Norwegian police officer fined himself for not wearing a life jacket on a boat :)
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
Sounds like the Norwegian police are VERY official. :D

This is official - here is your Hot Chocolate 24! There is never a bad time for this beverage.
Marshmallows, (whispers) - cream? both or neither?
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
  • Number24Number24 NorwayPosts: 22,350MI6 Agent
    Neither, thanks.
Believe it or not, the weather has been fine this afternoon ...... but I'll still have the hot chocolate. :D

You know, one of the nice things about SABS is that it's not pinpointed to any real geographical place. This has been comented on by many of your guests after trying to find their way home after a merry night in this fine establishment.

I always thought this place used to be tp's old sex dungeon? Hence the rather s and m inspired deco, the silencer in the name refers to the gimp gags he used to use and the bra strap.... Well that's self explanatory :D

He probably had a ticket quota to make and took the life jacket off on purpose just so that he could write his final ticket :o

Well it's somewhat better than a UK policeman would do,
"health and safety doesn't permit me to go an a boat, I think I'll sit in the patrol car and wait for a dog team, they can put the dog in the water"
"but those criminals are getting away officer"
" step back please madam this is a police matter, by the way I noticed a suspect looking tyre on your car....step this way madam " :)
