May I remind you that we leave arguments from other threads at the door here in SABS. I have started watching Star Trek DS9. So far I'm just on the second season. There is much to like about the series.
You see, BJB006, I'm trying to turn myself into a nerd. I fear I'll never get the maths and science skills to be a propper nerd, but with some work my social skills will equal that of a true nerd
Number 24, DS9 is the best TV show ever, overall. Imo.
The three parter that starts the second season is great. But there are still many "filler" episodes. The character development though is important.
Season three is again a step forward. But where DS9 really turns into the best show ever is with the pilot episode of season four. Although the cliff-hanger episode of season three is of course the start of it.
Garak is maybe the best supporting character ever written for the small screen. He'll play a vital role to the plot.

UBER NERD!
Nice to hear some flattery here
Thanks BJB006. I look even more forward to the rest of the series now. I think the chatacters and politics/societies are more complex and interesting than in TNG.
Oh! I've walked into the wrong pub, I seem to be in the "phaser and klingon"! Not SABS. Oh well I'll have a pint of vulcan pale ale please while I'm here

Almost. We want SABS to be re-named The Phaser and the Green Girl
Thanks. Yes, I know that Sir Miles loves to do that (and it's driving everybody including me crazy - imo it's the best thing to escalate a conflict and not to de-escalate).
I had no idea that you where following that as well.
And me using this - not that I am aware of. I see it more to shine a light on a certain aspect from various perspectives instead of repeating the same thing on and on.
And the name is HIGGINS!!! X-(
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

Now then, Higgybum...I don't ever move the goalposts...I find it easier to move the whole bloody stadium :v
I think you'll find you are FAR crazier than I could possibly drive you B-) but I'm glad you think I'm trying...I've no idea if anyone else thinks this...and neither do I care.
I've no interest in escalating conflicts...I do love winding eejits up though -{

Bashir, Julian Bashir.
Mr. Bashir, who was the ditz at the casino table with you?...
Oh Caprice...that was just Anastasia Komananov...a work colleague.
I promise, you are the only one I think about Miss Mona Luvsitt!
I am Hippocrates Noah and no Mr. Bashir, I don't expect you to talk, I expect you to die!
See Garak, that's what you get when you try to save the world! Take Anastasia around the moon one more time will you.

If you knew me better, you'd know that I am never running out of arguments to defend my opinion.
Just waiting for Barbel to confirm
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

I refer my right honourable friend to the answer I gave previously: https://www.ajb007.co.uk/topic/45498/pros-and-cons-license-to-kill/page/15/ (post 351)
Alas, I can confirm that this is true.
