Yes, Sir Miles is a part of the ..... senior staff here. :v
My mobile phone is in a coma at the M.A.S.H. (Mobile Appliance Surgical Hospital), so I'll won't be posting much in the near future. I hope this forum can survive that long without me )
You don't mind if we all talk about you whilst your gone do you?
We'll try not to make a list of all the times that you made inaccurate historical claims or got a date wrong :v.
Lord, I need something strong. The Cowboys are playing by the Redskins and my entire domestic happiness depends on the Redskins winning. I already had a cheap bottle of wine.

Very Good Madam Vesper! - I'd recommend either the Captain Janeway Caffine Junkie coffee Barbel likes, or alternatively Drax Nerve Toxin Gin. I would have offered the Sanchez Snifter Whiskey... ... but it's containment seal broke and corroded the canister it was beimg imported in.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
Actually I am thinking something pink and fizzy and milk for the kitty

A large Pink Dackery Madam. (Glass placed on the table)
(TB2 fills Holly's drink bowl with cat milk. Due to the size of the bowl, it takes 5 minutes.).
Its a special cat friendly milk she likes, but they don't sell it in a large size container. - Yet.
I had better get breakfast started!

It seems Holly likes the extra milk...
Come on cat! It's time for a walk.

Has Holly always been that large? I think my eyes might be playing tricks on me.

Its not your eyes!
One of Holly's parents was a domestic cat.
The other one was one of the Bodmin Moor Panthers.
As a result, she is quite sizeable compared to other animals around here.
Her food and toys reflect her scale too.

Well at the moment Wales has a lynx on the prowl, which escaped from a wildlife Park. Accross the UK are regular reports of big cat sightings.
Big cats aren't the only things that get spotted, in my part of the country we have sighting of old stinker who is said to look like a werewolf, we also have the black dogs of the Snickleways in York which have red eyes and often appear before bad things happen!
)
They are a network of small alleyways that run through York city centre, often between old buildings ( most buildings in York are old) and also with buildings over them, many have very old pubs along them.
Here's a few
As it's all hallows eve, I shall regale you all with a tale or two of my own personal experiences, I'm not the sort of person who is either dramatic or hysterical and I don't really believe in ghosts.
Whilst visiting friends when I was a boy of around 9 years old I was in their sons room on the the top floor of a house which was built in the victorian times, he was a keen on fishing as was his dad, he had a small sheath knife used for fishing on a book shelf accross the room from where we were. We had looked at this knife earlier as boys would and put it back in its sheath. A bit later we were called down for dinner as we got up to go there was a sound behind us, as I turned I saw the knife in the middle of the floor out of its sheath which was still on the shelf, the knife had travelled some six feet away from the shelf! My friend saw it and turned white we raced downstairs to tell his dad, who simply said very quietly " oh no, this again "
Whilst out for a last thing at night walk with our dogs my father and I decided to go through the field adjacent to his house, the field was full of crops which were about 8 feet high, we walked down one of the tracks left by I suppose the tractor? We had with us my dad's two golden retrievers and my own two black labradors, in front of us came a heavy rustle and much shaking of crops, then into the track appeared some sort of animal, it's girth filled the width of the track maybe 4 feet, it stood around 4 to 5 feet tall and in shape resembled that of a badger but much bigger, it stood for a moment and I could hear it sniffing in a very low way, then it took off straight towards us at blistering speed, it was maybe 30 yards in front of us and covered that distance in seconds, obviously we moved for cover into the crops and it just charged through knocking one of labradors flying as the dog ran away from it! It was obviously heavy due to the sound it made on the ground. The most mysterious thing is that the following day when we went to try and find some foot prints to try and identify the beast there were none!

HIGGS!! Yesterday's soup was Vegetable mix! No messing with the board!
Do that again, and you are for the cat!
Today's is Scotch Broth, the traditional recipe.
