This is quite true, I myself have been very busy, Ill, and tbh I struggled to find anything to add or get involved in any conversations recently.
I completely understand.
And now for something completely different:
I just said yes to a three month subscribtion for "Klassekampen" ("The class struggle"), Norway's premier communist newspaper. The ad was in the main conservative daily and the minister of education in the conservative government fronted the subscription drive. I enjoy living in a country with so little conflict and so much absurdity )
With no news on the next Bond film and some of the
Threads about " niggles" and " cons" of the Bond
Films. These sometimes show the person complaining
Simply hasn't understood the scene, missed a piece of dialogue earlier in the film or is picking some
Absurd point..... which I find annoying. At times
Threads here, don't seem to be written by " Fans" at
All. So I try my best not to respond ...... . As it's
Better for my blood pressure )

Here here! {[]
Despite my feelings about the newer films, I have decided to talk about the things I love only. I've seen I did some nice reviews last year for some films like YOLT, DAF, TND. I love writing about the films I love and I'm going to do it again. The GoldenEye review I posted earlier today I think.
It's easy to get into the "hate on" doom loop. I'm guilty of it too in the past.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion for sure, but i never signed to ajb to bash or be over critical of something I love, I also never signed up to argue, though I've found myself caught up in them from time to time.
You can be quite argumentative Chris, ....... If you disagree ........ you're being argumentative ? )
Just had a huge beef curry with fried rice, so now feel completely stuffed. I had to loosen my
Belt and am settling down for a binge watching of " Death in Paradise " -{

ARGUMENTATIVE me? I disagree! )
I was actually never an argumentative person, maybe it's growing older or maybe forums just aren't my thing ?:)
I hope you have friends or some professional help, on hand for days like this. Jason.
It's always better to have a friend to chat with to express your feelings and not keep
things bottled up. Stay strong -{

Pussy is right. Been there a few times myself.
I recently revisited a place where I lived with my Gran for several years in my teens. Pitlochry, in central Scotland.
Although I was very happy living with my Gran - she was great and I still miss her, I was in a bad emotional place at the time. A side effect of a family tragedy. Although it was over twenty years ago now, the ghosts of my inner demons were still a painful experience to recall. I will never return there ever again. - My own Skyfall in a way.
Recognising and acknowledging the darkness and pain inside is half the battle. Dealing with it - by asking for and accepting help, is the other half.
I need a drink. Non alcoholic. Who else?
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
I can give some advice from the happies people in the world (how do they measure this?) :
- keep regular, daily routines
- exercise a bit (yes, you should start exercising. Just begin with short walks - you may grow to like it )
- Remain in contact with friends, especially those here at SABS. Friends look better on the internet.
- Order Coke Zero as often as you can. It will give you much pleasure, quench your thirst and increase local production of natural gas.
I'll have gin, in celebration of England's win over Italy in the rugby, I'm all over the place with my drinks this weekend, I had an espresso yesterday while watching Wales vs Scotland, some English red wine while watching France v Ireland and sine Guinness today watching Italy v England!!
I'm happy to report that I'm having a very good night today after almost completely falling apart last night.
I realise that talking to one of you today helped me a great deal. Also I feel home here, don't ask me why, it's just so.
Thinking of spending time here every day, when time and health allows, reading and contributing.

Still is.
Here is a replacement.
(A second mug is placed on the bar.)
Right, I have work to do.
But I think poker or baccarat would be appropriate. -{
Yes, I think I heard you playing that by yourself last night...after that Vindaloo

Apparently it was bread in captivity!
Read that today, made me smile.
First time I'd been turned down on Medical Grounds
On a side note I'm watching the Mark of Zorro ( Sky 1 ) and have
to say Catherine Zeta-Jones is such a Babe ! :x
