This being St Patrick's, tonight my band are doing Whisky In The Jar, Black Velvet Band, I'll tell Me Ma, Hell's Ditch, Poor Paddy, Galway Girl, Wild Rover etc etc... in a bar near Loch Lomond.

I hope you do a rousing rendition of...
"Oh Danny Boyle, The Bonds the Bonds are calling,
From Terence Young to John Glen and down to Marc Foster
Christopher Nolan is gone and all the AJB fans are calling
It's you, it's you must come and we must like..."

) ) ) Fantastic! No, we didn't though!
(One thing- when we went into the bar the weather was cold but dry. When we emerged hours later there was a fair bit of snow which was still falling so we had a very careful drive home.)

Can't beat a bit of 'Wild Rover' !!
Very appropriate for tonight.
It went over a storm- they loved it!
(Our drummer sings that one, playing a tambourine, and went walkabout through the dancers during the instrumental solo on mandolin- he didn't make it back in time (kept getting grabbed by ladies!) so I had to sing the chorus till he got back, which was a bit of a change. The audience were ok with it though.)
I have a Scottish Pikey friend who when we have ever gone out for a fry up ordered a sausage and not eaten it, I thought it very strange, I asked him why he does it, he said it looks better on the plate )

(A radio controlled Aston Martin zooms in through the dog sized cat flap, bursts past Holly's basket, circles a couple of tables and weaves between the mods armchairs. It then disappears behind the bar. - TB2, is standing there holding the controller and grinning like a loon.)
Evening folks! I went to the Beaulieu Motor Museum today. Amazing place!
Anyone else been?
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
No, but it sounds like fun. Today I was on one of the tours of spooky old Edinburgh, prowling around the subterranean city not usually seen.

The Underground tour is one of the things I missed out on the entire time I was living there!
More's the pity. Not had the chance since.
One thing puzzled me at Beaulieu. The only Bond vehicle was Zao's Jaguar from DAD.
There was a timeline mention in the guide with a few pics, including Sir Roger in the Spectre tour DBS, and Wing Cmdr Wallace, but that was it. Has The House of Eon driven off in its own way with Bond In Motion?
Marvelous place either way.

Only 15 feet ( do you guys not use meters ? ) I though the plucky
Norwegians would have that cleared in a few minutes
At least there'll be plenty of ice for the coke zero.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
We use meters, but I've heard you guys leave when asked to cooperate with people who use meters :v
It's one of the major Easter holydays and Sunday today and the avalanche was very wide too, so it won't open until tomorrow. They have checked with dogs if anyone was caught by the avalanche, so there is no great hurry.
) It's just that "Feet and Inches" is the proper measurment
I do appreciate how you used it. As I do have to convert Meters,
in to Imperial measurments.

Tonight there was an avalanche on the road I use driving to work. It's a 15 feet high wall crossing the road.
A Coke Zero on the rocks, please
I just had my first Coke Zero in the new tin. Predominately red front with a black band across the top and the rest of the tin black. Not quite sure why they felt compelled to change the old black tins, but I guess some designer somewhere just got a bonus.
I always found the scene with cleausou administering the laughing gas to former chief inspector dreyfus hilarious, it gives me stomach ache from laughing so much. Wonderful films.

Now has a Guinness head on it

Pounds, shillings and pence
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

"Resist - say no to self improvement!"
The book also list seven steps to a better life: )
1) Stop trying to get in touch with your emotions
2) Focus on the negatives
3) Put on your No- hat
4) Suppressed your emotions
5) Fire your life coach
6) Read a novel instead
7) Dwell on the past
It's all part of life's rich pageant.
(TB2 looks up from his laptop and notebooks)
Pageant?! I have more than enough to manage around here without adding something on that scale.
Oh Crikey, I completely forgot! (Dashes off carrying one of the notepads....)
Is anyone interested enough in the Pink Panther movies for me to start a thread on them?
