I am trying to figure out which Bond movie has a certain desk. My parents own the desk and they are trying to sell it. I would really appreciate your help.
Here's the info:
If my parents remember it correctly it was a Sean Connery film (but they are not sure). In the scene Bond is serving drinks to a lady. He walks behind the desk, presses a button and a bar comes out of the desk with drinks in it. The bar raises out of a hatch in the desk (like other sneaky things from the Prohibition Era). He pours her a drink and says one of his classic lines about "Stirred not shaken".
What movie is it from?
Thanks

I personally would put the described scene into phantasyland but maybe someone else here has knowledge of deleted scenes where the mentioned "feature" has been showed?
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

Hasn't a Bond connection.
of our club ,you will see that the Bond knowledge here is 2nd to none , but as agent Bondtoys suggests it could have been filmed but deleted and not made it to the final cut, but welcome aboard the good ship AJB anyway
" The bar raises out of a hatch in the desk (like other sneaky things from the Prohibition Era) "
Does the desk actually have a secret hatch, or would this have been a bit of movie magic ?
Could be...but it isn't...more likely to be a spoof - probably not even featuring Connery...
Remember a desk in a couple of scenes in Marnie, and Woman of straw.
Although I do understand many films have desks in them. )
The exception that proves the rule. - I viewed my YOLT DVD and Henderson (played by Charles Grey)
offers Bond a drink and says "Stirred not shaken-is that right?" and Bond replies-"Perfect".
Also M on board the submarine has a big desk with drawers-but don't know about the drinks rising up!
In YOLT there are 2 Vodka references , where Henderson says he gets his Russian vodka from the doorman at the Russian Embassy-amongst other things. Then later at Osato Chemicals he exclaims about the "Siamese vodka!".
