If Dr. No was remade today...

...Would it be a much better film than the original? Think about it. They'd have a much larger budget than a million dollars and they'd probably be able to do more scenes from the Fleming book.

    Obviously everything would have to be updated to match today's current Trends and Technology.

    Yes, made almost in the time of the book. A few added
    scenes and characters, brilliant villain. Modern techniques
    could make a technically better looking movie but
    Not a better film, I'm happy with it -{ but everthing
    is up for discussion. :D

    Well, I suppose we do have to move on...But I can't help but wonder about the possibilities of a remake and I only think about it because Kevin McClory remade one Bond film and he successfully introduced everyone to a black Felix Leiter years before Martin Campbell's Casino Royale did.

    Also, Fatima Blush probably was the inspiration for GoldenEye's Xenia Onatopp.

    True but I don't think there would be many thinking
    NSNA was better than TB. Infact I'm not a fan of
    remakes in general, most are never as good as the
    original. Jusy my opinion. :D

    You've probably never seen Christopher Nolan's Insomnia (2002) which is a remake of a foreign film from 1997, I believe. 2002's Insomnia was a pretty good film in general, in my opinion.
