Most of you will be familiar with this particular piece of memorabilia which until now has been on permanent lone to AJB007's own Danjaq_Off's personal Bond prop Archive which sadly has been disbanded for pastures new. The case is also featured in Sir Roger Moore's Bond on Bond book. It is Artist Proof No:01 and is the only example to feature two signature Glidrose licensed brass plaques, one being it's creator Stephen Dymszo and the other being the late great Desmond "Q" Llewelyn.

No:08 sold on ebay April 2013 for $9,700.00 and if AP:01 was for sale it would probably better that sum but for sale it is not but perhaps someone may be interested in the following trade? a straight swop for an Honor Blackman/Pussy Galore "Bond" Goldfinger original 1964 door panel poster worth perhaps $4000? Please PM me if interested?

If the "Bond" Honor Blackman poster is a no go? then I'd also be interested in the Sean Connery You Only Live Twice original 1967 door panel poster as a straight trade -{

    There are many today who watch films like FRWL who aren't aware that the briefcase loaded with the gadgets came from similar tricked up items that were designed for spies during WWII. They believe it's something dreamed up just for the films. It's fascinating to research the real Q's of the war and see the amazing gadgets they came up with - many are on display in museums now.

    Very true, like the escape and evasion kit given to air crews during WW2 or the items smuggled to POWs via the Red Cross including maps, compasses, items for forging documents, and radio parts. Absolutely ingenius.

    Yes, and of course, the gadgets that Ian Fleming worked with in WWII before writing his novels...
