but am thinking of ordering said cardigan and that Casino royale shirt
(1) are these people in NZ easy to deal with /reliable ect
(2) will I pay import duty on goods into the UK
(3) any comments tips welcome

I'm sure many people on here will attest to how good Magnoli is! I've only ordered ties from him (Kazan & Skyfall, both excellent) and can only say that the delivery was rapid considering the distance and the quality first class. There are many more on here who have bought much more and no doubt they'll be along soon
Magnoli himself posts on here but doesn't need to blow his own trumpet - I would say go ahead and order then wait to be very pleased when the stuff arrives.

thanks guys .its not that I didn't trust them ,its more that I don't trust our customs and excise in getting my goods through customs with out sending me a wopping tax bill

1) Yes, absolutely.
2) I seriously doubt it.
3) Magnoli stuff is very good and well worth the money.
I'm in Canada, which might be the worst country in the world for pointlessly punitive import duties, and I've never paid anything for Magnoli stuff upon arrival. I'd say go for it and enjoy your new stuff mate.

I was wondering if anyone on this board purchased a recent Magnoli Quantum Cardigan? I read a slightly unfavorable review on the forum but it was dated a couple of years ago. But according to what I've been reading from some other users, Magnoli stopped production of it for awhile and then began re-releasing it - perhaps from a different manufacturer?
Is the quality improved? It seems like it's also has a pretty drastic price hike. If anyone who has purchased it in the last couple of months or year can chime in that would be greatly appreciated.

But do have every bond tie from Magnoli (all fabulous), and recently took the plunge re the CR leather jacket as seriously doubt Ill ever find the original... Worked hard on getting measurements right from a combo of my Menlo and a well fitting Ted Baker. It is amazing, great fit and looks about perfect. Get your inches right and go for shortest length you dare, then add the distressed option so as to remove the shine !

He made the Lazenby Loafers for me first, and they fit very well. Have bought ties, cufflinks, etc also from him.
Waiting on my Lazenby Palacio Hotel suit to be delivered.
1000% trustworthy chap, and very easy to work with!
Unfortunately the size looks too short for me, so I'm looking into a custom one. I'm currently trying to get the measurements right and working with Magnoli to ensure I don't screw anything up
