    yeah its a different one each day. yesterday the new reported that FKA Twigs was oging to sing it and that its being written by Adele. Adele is rumoured to be a fan of hers and has already introduced her to Mendes and Barbs.

    I decided to listen to several of Sam Smith's songs and I do like "I've Told You Now". I would not have a problem with Smith being chosen to sing the next James Bond theme song, but I don't know if he can hold a note for so long or sing so bold as well as Shirley Bassey did. They could write a song to suit his own vocal range.
    Let's please not make himself being openly gay an issue. So is the screenwriter of Skyfall and Bond 24, John Logan. We need the creativity and original ideas.

    I didn't realize that anyone was attempting to make this an issue, but if there is someone doing so I recommend they cease and desist immediately. There's absolutely no reason that should be an issue.

    Sam Mendes hinted the other day that the official confirmation could be announced late in the day, much like Adele for Skyfall. She was officially confirmed less than a month before the film was released, though it was an open secret before then. Same for Sam Smith?

    I don't care whether Sam Smith is gay or whatever. I'm more concerned that he's a Boy George look- and sound-alike . . . and that's just not an image I can reconcile with James Bond, haha.

    I liked Boy George's version of The Crying Game. But the rest of it just seems antithetical to Bond. Sam Smith isn't as big here in the states as he seems to be in the UK, but he is a current flavor. If they want to go that route, I'd hope they'd appeal to Lorde instead.
