Reading Bond in the Caribbean

I've just returned from a week in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. There is nothing as good as reading Bond with the waves crashing and very hot weather. Reading Dr. No and Thunderball was fantastic (not to mention the Gin and Tonics and Partagas cigars).

I'm curious where most people enjoy reading Bond. I find the Caribbean setting ideal and the books always seem much more enjoyable. I do think the settings add to the experience. I once was reading OHSS during a snowstorm on a plane and with the soundtrack on my headphones, it was fantastic!
This is where we leave you Mr. Bond. (Pilot, Apollo Airlines)

:)) Sadly the closest I've got was reading TMWTGG
a few weeks ago, when we were having a mini heat
    wave. :))
I could then understand Bond talking about the heat. :D

Fleming was very good at describing Tropical Climates (Since he lived in Jamaica) In LALD he gives us there Undertakers Wind, followed by the Doctors Wind.

Although the right setting can help. I remember long ago
Reading Thunderball on a lovely sandy beach. Just gave the
    Book an added atmosphere. :))
