Screen-Used CR Miniature

Crown Victoria police car miniature from the Casino Royale Miami Airport chase sequence.

Plastic with working motorized lights powered by eight (8) on-board AA batteries [since modified to operate as well on external AC adaptor]. About 18" long.

Shown with screen-worn uniform and badge from the same sequence. (NOTE: Both costume and shield are screen-used but not part of the same uniform.) Optional custom acrylic stand simulates rollover action seen in the film.

Replica spotlight and side mirror added to replace those lost through use and handling.

Compare 1/12 FX miniature with 1/43 scale die-cast model of same (issue #100 in the James Bond Car Collection). The stunt was initially performed full-scale with the miniature utilized for a final wide-angle shot. (Showing the 1:1 stunt ... the miniature is barely visible in the finished sequence!)

VERY cool addition to an already great collection!!! Nice to see these items survive beyond filming to make it into private collections. Especially. Thanks Alan for allowing us to share and enjoy your latest addition.

Thanks for sharing. Pretty interesting police patches, two different color schemes.

Also, I have a Security Officer badge but it looks like the CR screen version is a Police Officer badge. I had looked online for it and found the Security Officer badge from a company but not the Police Officer badge...

Thanks. Ultimately I'd like to get my hands on something more iconic (something with more instant recognition): Years ago I lost out on a Q Boat (the miniature used for the launch from MI6) when the seller balked at the end (suspect he actually got a better offer). Most everything else has just been insanely pricey. I have other pieces but, again, always something that takes some explaining.

Wanted to provide an update. Looks like "Police Officer" badges are on Carlos et al and a "Security Officer" badge is seen at the Body Worlds exhibit.

The Security badges are worn in the terminal, presumably by TSA-based characters. The Body World badges are a broader chevron style. In all cases the production team had to create new art to ensure no one attempted to use the prop badges in place of the real thing.
