Bond's new ride, Aston Martin Lagonda??

A few months ago, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli hinted at the Bond In Motion event that for Bond 24, James Bond will be driving a new Aston Martin we have yet to see. Recently Aston pulled the covers off the Lagonda, a super-saloon that's going to be offered in extremely limited quantities and is available by invitation only. I have a strong feeling that this car may make an appearance in Bond 24. Thoughts??

That's a good find.
Looks a bit too bulky and not a sports coupe, so doesn't have quite the right feel, IMO... But there again the 750iL from TND didn't feel quite right either but they still use it...
My bet is on the Vanquish successor. Bond was always driving flagship Astons so they would not give him the next gen DB9 because there is always something above it - I doubt it will be named Vanquish again, but they might go back to the DBS badge.
I know you meant Mideast, not Midwest, but that is laugh out loud hilarious. Since Legonda was previously an SUV I'm picturing Bond driving something fit for a soccer mom from Iowa. ) ) ) )
They will give him probably the next AM flagship, a Vanquish successor. Maybe they will even get back to the DBS naming.
I agree, all the way through (Astons) have been flagship sports GT model.
The new direction of the company and the tie up with AMG means that all models will undergo significant change. The V8 is due as is the DB9 a little later. This will spawn the Heavily breathed on Vanquish / DBS model.
Given filming will start soon and we know the release date to be late 2015, the "new" AM model featured is not likely to be actually available until a couple of years after that.
Personally it would be great to have Bond in a more affordable AM, such as the V8, but I bet its the flagship :-(

I have to say, that's actually quite disappointing. I would enjoy seeing Bond in something like a Jaguar F-Type: not as traditional as an Aston, but still cool, sleek and quintessentially British. Hell, I wouldn't even mind seeing Bond in a Range Rover doing some sort of ice/snow chase.
Nice but no DBS / Vanquish...

I have a belief it will be the present Vanquish replacement... Aston are on it already, and as in CR, first view will be on screen in B24 a year or so before the car is actually available...
Hope its a DBS resurrection too (hope that doesnt give TP an opportunity to reply)...
If not, then the anticipated V8V would be great, wont have to wait years to buy it at a sub 100k pricetag

The new Vantage? That is a true Aston Martin, and I hope it IS the new Bond car.

Standard Astons are rare enough - he should not drive one of these über-fancy limited Editions.
However the DB10 looks great!
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Totally agree re the exclusive model... It is the current trend though. LaFerrari / Veyron etc etc
Think the flagship mass produced (well mass for an Aston) is ideal....
