It's quite depressing. She's older than me but I don't look as good as her! :))

    Stunning.

I like all the girls involved. Hoping Monica can pull of a Maud Adams type vibe.

Once again, I'm amazed at the quality of the cast. {[]
A fantastic set of actors. In fact I'm not even that concerned
Who's playing whom. They're all good actors so can play
    Anything ! {[]

It's like the second Coming of Jesus for us Bond Nuts when a new Film is announced :))

So nice to see so many old 'faces' back on the board. :)

We've obviously all been desperate for some new Bond news.

Is it just me or does this feel the most exciting Bond in some years? The press conference may not be as grand as that for SKYFALL but there's a strange vibe of wonder coming off it. What do others think? From what I've been reading this seems the consensus.
I didn't think a one-word title would get me so worked up but it just feels so right to have Bond back up against his arch enemies.

Well since Skyfall was a big success I think everybody is excited for the next one. IMO this could be the best Bond if they do it right.

As a graphic designer I liked the poster. The font is well designed (disjointed letters give off a feeling that something is off balance) and the bullet hole/old SPECTRE octopuss icon is very understated and classy.

I was at first a bit thrown off by the title. I had to come back to it a few times to allow it to sink in. I decided I like it. If they are going to introduce SPECTRE in modern form (be it QUANTUM morphing into it or QUANTUM actually being a subsection of it or even the two competing each other over the plot's MacGuffin), then having Waltz as Blofeld is great. Even if he is not and turns out to be more of a Largo to the still hidden Blofeld is fine too.

I'm so glad they chose the character from Fleming's Octopussy (no gripe here of having changed Oberhauser's first name). They may even be lifting a lot of the plot from the story. Being Bond's ski instructor in the novel and having some of the film taking place in the Austrian alps is too much of a coincidence for me.

Here's hoping they will go a little lighter with Bond's character than with the last three films (though still retain his gravitas of being a no nonsense assassin/spy). Though I still think it will probably be in more line with his character in FRWL than say, GF.

With all the globe hopping he's doing in it, it doesn't feel as though we won't see anymore personal aspects of his private life (no flat, golfing, etc. - probably just a casino). I would enjoy it if some part of SF was mentioned in passing. Showing M's bulldog figurine on Bond's HQ desk, for example, or M or Tanner referencing his loss of the old Aston/SF estate/). It would give a hint of continuity without throwing it in anyone's face.

All in all, I'm satisfied with the everything at the moment and looking forward to further developments.

Yes, it's hard to miss your posts AOS, they're not as
Intellectual as what the ones what I wrote is. :p :)) ;)

I'm so pumped at the moment, I could take on a Disney fan in a
Fight ! ( if, we set out, there'd be no hard punches, especially to
The face and I could be home in time to see " Strictly come dancing ) :))

There was a quality montage of the Bond movies set to 'Nobody Does It Better' shown before the Bond 24/SPECTRE Press conference.

Has anyone seen this anywhere since?

I loved it and would love a copy.

I thought the montage was really good too. Was one of the best that I've seen.

What does everyone think of Mr. White being in this film?

If confirmed, I welcome the return of Mister White. Quantum is unfinished business, so hopefully there will be a satisfactory conclusion. Could White be Blofeld? I think not. Christopher Waltz (Oberhauser) appears the favourite but seems a bit too obvious. Perhaps there will be a big reveal at the end of the film, that could be pretty special?

I have a gut feeling that Waltz isn't Blofeld. I also have a gut feeling that everyone who is in the film, was not at the press conference. My gut tells me that Waltz is playing a villain, but it'll be "#2" and he answers to Blofeld. Whoever is playing Blofeld will be revealed at the end of the film. Waltz's #2 may or may not survive the film.
