Some of you may have seen a cover similar to this if you've ever searched for 'casino royale' on Google Images - that was mine, done YEARS ago on a very antiquated program called Microsoft Picture It.
So, I've finally decided to go back and redo it - the spine and front cover especially - in much higher quality than before. Take a look.

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Easy enough task! Slap your SpyGuise "Casino Royale" VHS onto a DVD-R, that's what I did. :-P
Unfortunately I don't have it on VHS or DVD...
Whats this? SM missing a peice of Bond Paraphernalia ?
I really need to watch it in full as I've only ever seen clips from it on TV.
It would only have a curiousity value, for Me.
Yes. I really must make the effort to watch it though for completion's sake if nothing else.
I agree you should have it to add to your collection, but I agree with TP's assessment. It's very far away from the Bond we know and love.
Look at my Complete Bond Filmography post. A number of other Fleming stories were slated for TV production.
True, but that was independent of the "Climax" production. He wrote a few outlines which were later recycled as Bond stories (most notably DN).
One of my favorite bits of Bond fandom occurred around 1999-2000, when the old 007 Forever website took part in a hoax claiming that the next Bond film would be released in 2000 - except this time, it was a low-budget film about James Bond saving the world's supply of Dr. Pepper from the evil Emilio Pepperfinger. Of course, my young self saw the trailer for this and fell for it completely. :-P
A behind-the-scenes 'mockumentary' about the making of this film was shown at conventions shortly after, but never saw public release for legal reasons. Nonetheless, I was so taken by this fictitious Bond film that, several years ago, I created a mock-up "Special 007 Edition" cover for it. Like the original "Casino Royale '54" cover I made at the time, it left a bit to be desired.
However though, I recently read the tragic news that Kyle Warnick, one of the genius masterminds behind this whole thing, had passed away suddenly; so I decided to remake my old DVD cover in tribute. (You can spot him on the bottom left of the back cover.)
When I was on a Bond collecting spree years back, you better believe I tried to get my hands on that prop. :-P (Sadly, though, it seemed to have been lost.) I did, however, get my hands on a promotional magazine about the film that is also seen in the mockumentary - which to my surprise was actually fully fleshed out, with a ton of articles about the non-existent film and even a calendar featuring Jerry Soules as Bond! The magazine also included a full-page version of the poster, which I was able to use for the front of my DVD cover.
