Are they releasing the plot too? It would be great if he actually has a mission in this one handed out by M.

Though of course, Waltz could still be Blofeld and Scott could be his number 2?
Would make sense if Bond 24 and 25 are part of the same story.
This is why I need some concrete news, to stop me trying to piece all the rumours together! )
Blofeld may be in it but not be the main villain per se, such as in TB for example.
Yeah, that was my thinking.
By "his number 2" I meant as in SPECTRE number 2. Worded poorly admittedly.
Blofeld might not be the main villain in Bond 24 but could be in Bond 25

Hopefullly Andrew Scott doesn't play Blofeld. I like him a lot as an actor but he played Moriaty, it would feel copied and silly if he played Blofeld as well

If Waltz and Scott are cast as villans it speaks of lazy casting. They have both played villans brilliantly in the past. Scott brought a new vision of Moriarty to the TV screen in Sherlock, just as they should do with Blofeld. Instead of using actors who have made a name as villans, they should cast actors People haven't seen as villans before. In Skyfall we saw casting actors who have played villans well before can do so again, but it Works better with fresh villans.
I'm actually really excited by the prospect of seeing Scott in the film. I think he's a terrific actor and has a proven record of playing villainy. Belluci is a real beauty but older than the norm and with Craig's increasingly haggard looks will stave off any criticisms of Bond being too old for his leading lady!
Roll on tomorrow so we can find out for sure!

I think the cast list ( if true ) is bloody amazing. {[] obviously
Not just the main characters but the smaller roles too. -{ hopefully
The script will be as good as the cast.

Andrew Scott played Paul McCartney in a Lennon biopic, a Waltz was not the villain in his second Oscar winning performance in Django Unchained. Just two examples. I'd call it inspired casting, as was Javier Bardem or Mads Mikkelsen.
Yes, I look very much forward to the press conferance :007)
I think both Scott and Waltz are great actors, but they both became known to the international public playing villans. If they are cast I will still look forward to the finished movie like a child looks forward to Christmas. It's just that I prefer disovering actors like Mads Mikkelsen when I watch a Bond movie to watching someone play the villan one more time.

If they cast creative, intelligent actors, one villain does not have to be like another villain. Mads Mikkelsen for instance created a great Le Chiffre, and then went on to play Hannibal Lecter, making me forget about Anthony Hopkins, which is amazing. Javier Bardem's Silva has nothing to do with his "No Country for old men" villain...
No need to worry, I feel we're in good hands. They made great casting decisions in recent past, typecasting or casting against type. I'll just enjoy the ride!
Let me make it clear: these are only minor quibbles. We aren't talking about casting Denise Richards here . A great actor like Bardem can create very different villans, and so can Waltz and Scott (if they are cast and if they prove to be villans.)
Imagine these casting rumours are true, but the producers are tricking us. What if Waltz and Scott are actually allies, Belluccci is the villan and the title is "The Property of a Woman"?

That goes a long way to confirming Monica Bellucci. Baz Bamigboye has generally been a reliable source of information regarding the Bond films. Interesting to note he says Bond woman. I was not so sure of that when Bellucci was initially rumoured, she could equally have been a villain attached to Christopher Waltz's character. Possible she still might be?

I think that would be great!
I thought this exactly too. The Property Of A Lady really needs to be used.
Since Baz Baz Bamigboye has confirmed Bellucci I think she will be at Pinewood tomorrow. I think she was pretty much born to be in a Bond Movie. To think she turns fifty this year! Lea Seydoux was born in 1985 and Bellucci ws born in 1964. So far the oldest Bond girl has been Maud Adams at 42, I think.

If Property of a Lady is used, I do hope this isn't a continuation of Skyfall and have the story centered around Judi Dench's M, again

Years ago, I made the point to friends that casting Daniel Craig was brilliant because he not only had elements of Connery's manliness but also did not fit the stereotypical mold for Bond at the time. I hadn't seen much of his acting, but when I did, I was also impressed, as he has bona fide talent. That made me even more confident that he would be surrounded by a cast of equally talented people. Casino Royale proved this. Quantum of Solace, while disappointing overall, had many elements of what could have been a great Bond film, but a director whose artsy vision rushed things and a script so muddled at times it sank what should have been a more enjoyable experience. Still, the acting by and large shined and the elements were there. As with Quantum of Solace, Skyfall's script squandered some opportunities, as the casting once again amazed -- Jarvier Bardem is one of the finest actors around today, and I just wish they'd written his villain to be more than an Alec Trevelyan/Joker redux. Still, it was a more complete film than its predecessor, with a director with more than just a marginal understanding of the Bond concept.
All that said, what makes me ecstatic right now is that Eon is finally attracting topnotch acting talent. While it may still be weak in the writing department, the actors nonetheless are some of best people around today. I am wholeheartedly excited that instead of the Taliso Sotos, Teri Hatchers, and Toby Stephens, we're getting the likes of Eva Green, Giancarlo Giannini, Mads Milkkelsen, Jarvier Bardem, Christoph Waltz, and Andrew Scott. Monica Bellucci, in addition to being beautiful, can act, and her casting would be wonderful. This what happens when Eon plays an A game instead of a B one. Now, let the writing be A, too.

I'm more worried about a revenge story. Monica Bellucci would be the daughter or Granddaughter of M. She wants revenge on MI6 and Bond for failing to protect her Grandmother. So, Dench might not be in the movie, her spirit would still live on through pictures and maybe home movies. Every time Bellucchis character looks at a picture or home movie of M, Denchs presence is still in the movie, and it further fuels her revenge on Bond and MI6
Don't get me wrong, I loved Dench as M, but it's time to move on.

What about if Judi Dench comes as a ghost to counsel Bond, as Yoda in Star Wars?
