The Malta story is on today, its a film about how the people of Malta ,survived the constant bombing of their island during WW2,
you can still see bullet/bomb damage today, Malta is a great little island ,and has been the setting for many a film .
I've been watching Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt on Netflix. It's got a weird premise for a sitcom--Kimmie was held in a bunker for 15 years by a religious cult leader and is new to the world--but it delivers solid laughs in every episode, something more conventional comedies don't regularly do.
I was a fan of Lost - but it got so convoluted, I gave up...
I can see where J.J Abrams cut his teeth - and being able to watch episodes back to back does help... but my God. Being able to fly from L.A. to the mid Atlantic in under an hour defies belief.
However, I have enjoyed the series, not sure what to watch when I finish... only a few episodes to go

I'm really getting into Elementary, Sherlock did a fantastic little trick
With a rubber band to remove a security chain from a door the other

Watching the celebrity apprentice USA on ( BBC i-player) I think it's last years
Show because in the interview section one of the judges was the late Joan
Rivers. With one team ( doing a reto 7up advert) were trying to get the late
Geoffrey Holder, as he was famous for the 7up adverts in the 70s, so far there's
A bit of a problem, if he turns up next week, it must have been one of his last
Appearances.

Tuned in to watch The Avengers last night, it's the new gal instead of Diana Rigg. She looks alright but a bit shallow, can't see much depth there yet. And somehow no sexual chemistry between her and Macnee this time round, so it seems more like an awkward flat share going on.
I won't say Rigg carried Macnee, but she did add another dimension to things.
I agree Tara King is no Mrs Peel. -{ to me she looks very young and I seem
To remember unlike the other Avenger Ladies, she isn't supposed to be trained
In fighting, more a damsel in distress ? I think they were trying something
Different.

I see the BBC has started to take adverts as a new show follows what it

Clangers make their first appearance within the CBeebies Stargazing 'Eclipse of the Sun' episode. Narrated by Michael Palin. Scheduled for spring 2015.
A Christie film of course, better made in as a black and white movie in the early 50s I think, with a leading lady who looked like Ms Emma Peel. Very Hitchockian. Then there was the Oliver Reed version, with Orson Welles as U. N. Owen, in the early 1970s - And Then There Were None.
Tara King is growing on me, though she has this perplexed simpering expression not unlike the cows in the Muppets' Mn-nermera sketch. I can't tell if her part is underwritten or whether Rigg just knew how to do more with it.
Yes, I liked the Oliver Reed version too. ( love a murder mystery) but found it
Odd the voice they chose for Gert Frobe, as for a big bloke it sounded too high
Pitched.
As for Tara King, I was wrong when I said, I remember her not fighting etc, in the
Couple of episodes I've seen she's had a few very good fights. I do remember
Reading she did feel annoyed that unlike the other Avenger girls, she never got a
Bond film. Even Purdey had done OHMSS before The New Avengers.

I've been enjoying this too...Donald Trump comes across as a really nice bloke!
Just watching Friday Night Dinner with Tamsin Grieg, and Mark Heap (both from the green wing) bloody funny! )

Yes, I'm loving the celebrity apprentice. They've ended up with two great finalists
although someone has told me it's from 2011 ?, I didn't think it was that old.

) Yes, I did point out to my wife that Both Joan Rivers and Jeffrey Holder had recently
died, so I thought it may have been one of the last things they had recorded ?

Its almost like watching Bond wondering how on earth Frank is going to get 'out of this one' .
Featuring the notoriously dangerous ski to sky highway which I mentioned a few years back for a decent Bond chase sequence :007)
(Apart from a guy who was a contestant on The Chase the other day who was a Red Arrow !! )
Apparently MacGyver is coming back, but this time as a Woman !

I wouldn't say boring... as bloody complicated!
And it should come with it's own set of cliff notes )
