Good news for fans of the X-Files. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will be reprising their roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in a new six part series. Original creator Chris Carter will be at the helm when production starts this summer.

Well, I'm not saying you SHOULD....but you'ld be missing out. Aidan Turner really is yummy. He has the most amazing voice and a stare that makes you quake or quiver...and it's a cracking story that goes at a pace.
I would be surprised if you didn't like it...(our tastes are quite similar it seems! )

Its amazing that mans inhumanity to man ,has now largely been forgotten, many young people would have no interest in "THE WAR" we was interested as kids because of uncles,grandparents ,shall we say were in it .But in the case of my own family ,we have German relatives,(I wont go into great detail) but the two dads ,ie fathers of the bride and groom , fought on opposing sides ,bitter enemies ,on the field of battle , and the thought ,that one day that their children would marry ,at the time would have been totally inconceivable. Thank heavens we have almost put the horror of war , deep in the pages of time .
" Inside No 9™ is new to me ( must have missed it) as I enjoy ( from the trailer) this
Kind of " Dark" comedy, so I'll be watching. -{

I have noticed the same thing. But like you say - for us WWII was close, our parents remember it and some of our grandfathers fought in it. But now WWII is about 70 years ago, much like WWI was when many of us grew up. Few of us are very interested in WWI, are we?
Just watching the funeral of Richard 3rd, up turn two minor members of the Royal family , both in separate Bentleys, both with 4 man, Special Branch teams, in brand new Range Rovers , and they say the country is skint ???
New series of 'Inside No.9' with Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith starts on BBC tonight {[]
This is a cracking series. The first was very good...and Reece was interviewed on Radio 4 a few months ago, and he explained the process of how the stories come about...can't wait for tonight!
