There's an interesting documentary about Las Vegas presented by Trevor McDonald on ITV1 currently.
Yes its on now ,but a mate said ,if you watch it ,you wont ever want to go there ???
I taped it and only saw about half of it but it wasn't flattering at all. I don't think that I'd ever really want to go there though (and most especially not to gamble money!) but it would be a fascinating chance to conduct a sort of psychological study of the people attracted there to the casinos and slot machines. I've partly written an article on 1950s Las Vegas as depicted in Fleming's DAF novel and I may now finish it up and post it to the blog. -{

It looked very drab, in DAF it really didn't look all that glamorous either.

Yes, a work colleague who went on holiday to Las Vegas told me that they even had slot machines/fruit machines etc. in the hotel lobbies (never mind the casinos)!

I know he has his fans, but I think he has a big ego. Which may have
had something to do with his producer leaving after only five months.
I honestly think his version of TG, will be the last. His idea of getting
One Direction as guest hosts etc, fill me with horror. Also if you thought
Clarkson had a big head, at least he knew he needed help from the other
two to present and film stories for the series. Where Chris doesn't think he
Needs help and ( if true) will be the only permanent presenter.
I'm so big a fan of Top Gear that I even watch the repeats on Dave. )

Another Netflix offering, the comedy Master of None. I was none too sure of this one, since it stars Aziz Ansari--I found his character on Parks and Recreation so annoying I couldn't watch the show. But this program is both very funny and even profound, with insightful episodes about roles for Asian actors, being the children of immigrants, appreciating old people, and the problems of living together. It's worth watching.

I also really enjoyed the latest version of "Then there were none" on BBC 1 last night, very moody.

That was really fantastic -{ Pretty damn dark but really captivating. Rare to see such a talented cast all at their best, I even thought Toby Stephens was excellent when I presumed he could act himself out of a paper bag judging by DAD. )
