With all of the OHMSS references, I have a feeling that if Ellie Goulding is singing anything it will be We Have All The Time In The World, and That someone else is doing the theme. I did mention this a few weeks ago to my good friend Higgybaby, but he shot me down

Anyway, just a hunch :007)
Hope you are right oh Plug Meister however anyone apart from the late great Mr L. Armstrong who have attempted to capture this classic have pretty much mucked it up! Mr I.Pop springs to mind
This worked back in 1969 because someone who was close to the end of his days sung with compassion from the heart about something he clearly did not have so I feel Miss Ellie may just strangle it if your hunch is correct?
Am I the only person who has a total irrational dislike for the BBC?
The sooner it is privatised and the licence fee is abolished the better.
I hope you are the only one... not a fan of licence fees, but that is no reason to privatise anything, unless you are a fan of boring pseudoreality TV and cute kittens and puppies.
Very "Meh" about Smith but wouldn't have been much more satisfied about Goulding or Radiohead. Guess you can never really tell until you hear the song, though I guess Adele was pretty nailed on as a hit
Though I am wondering whether we could get an announcement today? Even if it's just announcing that it's Smith and that the song will be released tomorrow or something

It does look like Sam Smith for the theme tune and Ellie Goulding for the 'love' song then...
A duet between Smith and Goulding would be interesting though the last duet we had didn't end too well. Hope the song is better than Another Way to Die.

Well whoever does it, maybe we'll get one or two alternates this time? Especially with Ellie, the rumors seemed really strong for her (Radiohead I never really believed). I always enjoy the unreleased tracks from a historical-ish standpoint.
I never believed Radiohead either. Smith was the one everyone was saying up until he denied it, which is what he'd do likely even if he'd already recorded it.
I'm betting it's him with Goulding recording an end-theme or some kind of love theme to be played behind some of the "action." Her song for that Fifty Shades of Grey movie actually fit nicely.

Bond actually used that phrase quite a bit in a number of books to his love interests, not just in OHMSS.
which in the end, someone else did.

Not sure how reliable it is but some of the folks at MI6C say they are trustworthy
yeeeees, I'm not home on Tuesday X-(
Ellie Goulding's got that song listed as Spy.........Sam Smith has the ring............
Duet?

No...during the film...but it's only a guess -{
I'm much happier that Goulding is not doing the main theme... a love song is much more her 'thing' than a full out title theme.
I'll wait to call judgement on Smith - some of his tracks I like, but he's still not who I would pick for a Bond theme...
Same story about Sam Smith and the theme from RTE.
I hope it will be something good...
