I Can't see An aRtist like rhianna or beyOncE being chosen. Many prEvious theme song aRtists Are chosen for their skiLl anD ability, not so much their popularity. Those that were tended to be a bit week.
Die Another Day and Quantum of Solace spring to mind.
I think a less known artist should be considered. Maybe from Holland.
I am pretty sure Rhianna would step her game up major if she was chosen for Spectre. It's additional publicity/shine for her... not that she needs it.
I am also thinking Sam Smith would be a good choice. I don't think they should bring back Adele. She did great for Skyfall but I would like to see someone new sing the Title Song for Spectre.

Although Rhianna and Beyoncé are undoubtedly popular, they are also both excellent singers. I think with the right song, either of those ladies could do a fantastic job on a Bond theme.
If you mean as singers, I couldn't disagree more. If you are referring to their acting, you get no argument from me.
As singers -
I actually enjoy Rihanna's voice better, although Beyoncé obviously enjoys more popularity. It's hard for me to sit through a Beyoncé song to be honest, too high pitch, too crazy.
As actors-
Don't care for either, but Beyoncé sure is fun to look at!
As sex symbols-
Beyoncé hands down! This is a woman with a capital W! Lord almighty...
I hope with Spectre we return to the big Orchestral sound of John Barry, and if Spectre is in some way paying homage to OHMSS I wouldn't mind an instrumental theme.
Although I'd love Sir Paul McCartney to be given another stab at it, afterall he is on a sold out world tour at the moment!!
As long as it isn't those two idiots featured in the that video clip or in the style of that dreadful Madonna theme I'd be happy.
Adelel was superb and I wouldn't be against a powerful male singer in the vein of Tom Jones with Thunderball!!

I don't think we'll ever get an instrumental theme again since it won't have selling power. And Thomas Newman couldn't even write any themes for the Skyfall soundtrack, so I can't imagine him writing a theme for Bond film. I've never found any of his themes to be particularly memorable anyway. Some of them are cool, but I've never heard him write anything that seemed right for Bond.
I saw McCartney when he came to Nashville back in 2010. He's old as hell and still badass. he played for 3 hours straight without even a glass of water, and the dude did 3 encores. he would be great to fit that 'middle aged bond can still kick ass' theme.

I don't think it's fair to call him "old as hell". He's 72. I've seen musicians well into their 80s (like the jazz drummer Roy Haynes) give fantastic concerts.
I finally watched this thing. All of my friends here at AJB and not one of you stopped me! The horror!!!!
I didn't even know they were still relevant.

Have you heard him try to sing lately >
