I have a feeling that the whole 'Blofeld being in Spectre' might just be a big, huge rumour and nothing more. I might be proven wrong, but I just have this feeling that Blofeld won't be in this film. Future films maybe, but this film? Not so sure.

Daniel Craig himself said that he's excited about the film being called SPECTRE and "all that brings with it". That is a hint at Blofeld.

I reckon Blofeld will turn up at the end of the movie. As the main villain pulling all the strings. With Blofeld being the main villain in Bond 25.

I don't know if somebody mentioned this idea before, if yes than sorry: what if the current M (Mallory) is actually Blofeld? As far as I can see, he:
- was trying to get M retired (in order to take over MI6),
- he was trying to stop Bond from getting back to active service (knowing he's a brilliant agent and that he could be trouble),
- he send Moneypenny over to China in order to report about Bond's actions,
- he had nothing against the stupid idea of Bond getting away with M to a remote location without any reinforcements, where both of them could likely die in a stand off against Silva's little army,
Maybe it's overinterpretation, but imagine if it's true... That would be a twist that hasn't been seen before.
Yes a nice twist -{ or instead of having Bond being
Brain washed as in the novel TMWTGG. You could have
had M brain washed during his time held prisoner by
The IRA ? They could have passed him on to Blofeld
To be brain washed, then sent back to become head
Of the secret service ?
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
Although it would be nice if Bond could save M, break
Him out of being brain washed and have him return
To the side of the good guys. Then carry on as M for
Many years to come. -{

Or have M sent on a suicide mission to kill an infamous assassin.
It would be a surprising twist. But I don't know how they could work that in the script, although it would nicely fit what I think SPECTRE will be. Bond trying to find out who Blofeld is.
I really don't think " Fleming's" Blofeld has yet been shown on screen. Given
The cast list for Spectre, I have high hopes , that were in for something
Special. -{

A clever post, but if something like this was tried it would spoil the films with what in other fandoms is known as 'fanwank'. Judi Dench's M seemed sometimes somewhat compromised, and I like Mallory as the new M because he's a slightly shady character; but this doesn't mean that (as with Jim Phelps in the first Mission: Impossible movie) it should now turn out, as a surprise stunt, that M, who's always enjoyed a structurally fixed role in the James Bond formula, has really been the ultimate nemesis all along! In Mallory's case, I wouldn't want to see any new developments involving a 'retconning' of 'Skyfall' (the retrospective imposition of new continuity on a film from before).
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.
I am of a mixed opinion of having Mallory turn out to be Blofeld. On one hand it would be an awsome way to end up finally revealing that the head of Quantum/SPECTRE was Mallory all along pulling the strings. But then I feel it best Mallory be left simply as M as he was established very well in SF and should be left to carry on the reins as he would be great in doing so for future Bond's.
I think a better idea would be having Mr White be Blofeld all along. It would make more sense and I could certainly see SPECTRE ending on this reveal as well as seeing him holding a white cat.
M being Blofeld would really mash things up - would be interesting!
I dont think Mr White should be Blofeld, would be a bit disappointed if that happened. Besides didnt he trash the series when he was left out of Skyfall? Would EON use him as a major character
Although he did say, what he said. was taken out of context. !

I think it's more likely that the Andrew Scott character, Denbigh, ends up being Blofeld.
He'll have played the two great fictional villains of the last 150 years.
BTW, I have not read any scripts or filming outlines so this is a complete guess.
Dear god no!! he was terrible in Sherlock , it needs to go back to Fleming , Polish born ,running a criminal/spying gang for years. Scott is about as threatening as a meercat.

If someone from before is going to be Blofeld I would guess Mr. White. However, I'd certainly bet that Denbigh is a SPECTRE agent working as a double agent with MI6. There just aren't enough bad guys casted otherwise for a film with the bad organisation as its title.
If it is Mr. White, which I personally doubt, then I hope it's because Quantum folds after the events of QoS but then Mr. White and a few others form SPECTRE in it's place..

In Fleming's first few pages of description on Blofeld, he is compared to Hitler and Mussolini.
To me, Waltz definitely has enough about him to portray a character as sinister as that.
It would be obvious casting but doesn't mean it wouldn't be inspired.
