Why is Roger considered a "Superman" Bond?

I've noticed that Roger's portrayal of 007 is sometimes regarded as a "Superman" Bond.
Just for arguments sake let's take a look at the PTS from Moonraker, Goldeneye, and Skyfall:
Sure, his Bond gets tossed out of an airplane without a parachute, but he works his arse off to obtain a parachute from the other fellow. His Bond does not simply fly away to safety, or hit the ground and somehow survive.
Compare this with Goldeneye where Brosnan does a ridiculously impossible freefall to catch the plane. Bond must have relied on some superpowers that day.
Skyfall also portrays Bond as superhuman and indestructible. His Bond is basically has the same funny invincible status as Jaws in TSWLM/MR. Send him off a cliff, over a waterfall, out of an airplane, it doesn't matter because he will keep popping up alive.
I can't think of a single RM moment that even comes close to matching the Superman moments of Brosnan and Craig.
Actually, Connery had the first "Superman 007" moment when he lassoed the tail of a B-17 flying overhead and was yanked away into the sky with Domino holding on for dear life!

Which was a brilliant stunt. -{ and I think his films had some of
The most outrageous, fantastic stunt work ever captured on film.
So I wouldn't be too annoyed if he's called the " Superman" Bond
"Stuntman" Bond might be more appropriate ! {[]
The difference is Brosnan's stunt would be impossible in real life, whereas Craig's is possible, though highly unlikely.
As for Roger, he's the first Bond to have those near impossible stunts. Also, he does everything without losing his cool, and without a hair out of place (The end of MR, he's destroying capsules flying around the world in a space shuttle, yet he could be having a tea with the Queen)
That was basically an auto-pilot type scenario. Similar to flying a drone aircraft from a laptop.
Don't forget the great scene earlier in the centrifuge trainer where got the *&!# knocked out of him. And in regards to your Octopussy photo: Disarming that bomb in at the circus was certainly no picnic…that might be the closest we've come to seeing Bond in sheer panic.

Given both Octopussy and Superman III were shot at Pinewood Studios and released in june 83,it could be genuine.
When the auto-pilot malfunctions and he has to shoot manually, he's still as cool as a cucumber.
Right, that must be the one scene where he acts a little like a human being would, hair out of place, not being able to walk properly, all sweaty. The next minute he's perfect again like nothing happened. A normal human being would take a week in hospital to recover. He's no doubt a Super-human.
He was in panic because of the people, not because of himself. By the way, do you think the picture is fake? I don't think so, it looks genuine to me.

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Nope, that was just another method of extracting personnel.
It was called Fulton Surface to Air Recovery System, STARS for short, and it was actually in service up until 1996.
Here is wiki page of the system: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulton_surface-to-air_recovery_system
Here is a Daily Mail article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2218540/The-real-life-James-Bond-rescues-Flying-Skyhook-wasnt-just-007-helped-recover-CIA-agents-enemy-lines.html
Have a nice-one.

True, Reeve was 6' 4", but you can't really tell from the picture where Moore is standing or what footwear they're wearing, can you? I don't see a "line between them", and the lighting is correct (look at the reflection in their eyes). If you say it's documented that Reeve visited the OP set, it could be genuine.
Where's the mountain? where's the motorbike? It's not the same stunt. In fact, they couldn't pull it off in the movie. B.J. Worth is interviewed saying although he thought the stunt was feasible, they could't make it happen. That's why the actual film was obviously FX.
I can't be so FEASIBLE when they tried it several times, and ended up using crappy FX to make it happen.
as Fleming himself said, his stories were " Improbable, not Impossible"
Yes, but if it's feasible it should be captured on film. That's the point of Bond stunts. The MR PTS is "improbable, not impossible", and they could capture it on film. GE PTS, might be feasible in certain conditions, but it turned out to be impossible film.
I've heard that the Moonraker PTS stunt was not done in one take and I really feel kind of cheated because it's obviously not "feasible" X-(
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
I can't believe it took more than one take ! I bet they
Even wore concealed parachutes ! Oh how the movies
Lie to us.
Does someone have EONs email address?

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Nobody is discussing editing.
I really felt cheated in that GE scene.
I remember the entire cinema cheering after that. Everybody knew "Bond IS BACK!!!"
It was the same in the theater where I first saw Goldeneye. We were thrilled! -{
I have mixed feelings about Goldeneye...
+ glad Bond is back
- it like going backwards
I remember everybody laughing at the scene. It was embarrassing.
Some get an odd crowd, I seem to remember the audience cheering
When I appeared. )
