BTW the last Bond film I saw at the cinema was LTK.
That's interesting..is that out of choice? DAD was better on the small screen I think..especially the second half because the dodgy CGI grates less somehow. Seeing the tidal wave bit in the cinema made me want to cover my eyes tbh..I thought it was shocking. Shame you missed Goldeneye at the cinema though..that was great and the audience reaction was very exciting.
I'm old school, The films were made to be seen on the big screen. So
I always make a point of watching, in fact several times. )
I was completely gutted when I missed out on TSWLM at the cinema because it was only on one screen and the 'House Full' sign went up before we could get in (imagine that now haha). Since then I haven't missed one.
What if he did? Would the movies be better or worse?
I just want to hear your opinions on it
Then I would have given up Bond after A View To A Kill, instead of after Licence To Kill. After Dalton left, I really didn't care for the Bond franchise anymore until Skyfall.
I've often wondered about this. I think Brosnan would have been excellent in TLD, and the film would probably have a similar reception to that of GE. I'm not sure we would have got the same LTK. But the thing is, I'm not sure how the 90s would have panned out. I love GE, TND and TWINE, so if Brosnan being in TLD means we'd get a different 90s era, then I'd happily pass.
Film: Tomorrow Never Dies | Girl: Teresa di Vicenzo | Villain: Max Zorin | Car: Aston Martin Volante | Novel: You Only Live Twice | Bond: Sir Sean Connery
