Would be great to see a bond film set in the 60's ,this would open up the scope for more Cold War stories and a cooler retro feel ,what do you think?

A TV series of Ian Fleming's novels faithfully adapted and set in the 1950's will be made. That would be welcomed not just by me but by very many.
I could see the BBC doing that -{ But there would have to be some rather long and complicated discussions with EON and The Fleming Estate.
If set in the 50s or 60s. Perhaps by the BBC , in the vein of " Tales of the
Unexpected " -{
This is what I've wanted since I first read the novels as a teenager.
Most of all, I'd like to see the Thunderball/OHMSS/YOLT stories play out as they did in the books; especially YOLT. Dr. Shatterhand, the Death Collector, with his suicide gardens... I loved it - it's almost supernaturally surreal in the books, and it's a tone that the films will never touch.
It'll never happen but if executed well it would be incredible.
I also love the idea of a faithful TV series. 1 6-10 episode season per novel. Yes please!
